Downloading Some Quality, Hard-to-Get Movies Using OK.RU

I don't watch television. I don't use Netflix. I have to watch my outlay. So I've used YouTube, Dailymotion Video, and to obtain movies. Recently, however, it has been more difficult to achieve. I needed to find a new site. Well I've succeede

Jackie Coogan - An Actor That More Than Mentored Young Fellow Actors

Do you recognize that name, Jackie Coogan? If you are young, quite likely not. Yet that name is of great interest in the world of acting. But perhaps you know him without knowing you know him, as Uncle Fester. If you do, you likely associate it with the v

Can the Internet Be Broken? Don't Laugh

Ralph Breaks the Internet is a new Disney movie, my wife and grand-kids tell me. A catchy title, I'm sure you'll think. And, the title appeals, not just the kids but to the adults. A great economic ploy. But, oddly enough, about a week ago, the idea of a

Will the Lunacy Never End? Airboarding

People never cease to amaze me. Not primarily because of their "brilliance", but because of their fool-hardiness. Consider air-boarding. Here is a YouTube video of stunt. Looks fun, right? But consider, also, this... People dying or being horrendous

The Scene of This World Is Changing - Universities

Maybe I'm just old. I don't know. Elementary education changes over time have been a source of grumbling. And from my perspective, rightly so. The schools seem to have lost focus on what is truly important. Standardized tests frighten school systems. But

Inventors Seldom See the Big Picture

I read what should have been a light, interesting if relatively unimportant, article on the invention of the push lawn mower. Fellow writer Anthony Davis provided this link: Who Made That Lawn Mower? The article triggered a chain of thoughts in my mind.

Gross Food Product Report: Planters Salted Caramel Peanuts

My daughter purchased a "treat" for her kids, aged 4 to 9. Salted caramel peanuts, although the label clearly states artificial flavor. Anyway, the kids thought they didn't taste good and refused to eat more than their first bite. So me (you know my kind,

Is There an Element of Truth to the Paranoia?

Paranoia is the irrational fear that someone or something, somehow, is out to get you. This is, at least, my definition. But is at least some of that labeled as paranoid, in fact, truth? You take a trip out of state. Decades ago, if you did that, you coul

Simplifying One Egg Breakfast

I'm not young. Neither is my wife. Yet she makes breakfast every morning for six people who don't all eat the same thing. I love eggs. One of my favorite egg dishes is soft-boiled eggs. But soft-boiled eggs are a lot of work. They require the most careful

Save Energy with Room Darkening Shades

My wife just finished putting up room darkening shades in the bedroom that has a large window that faces the summer sun. This keeps the rays from penetrating the double-windows and letting solar radiation heat the room up so it overworks the air-conditioni

If you used to write at Persona Paper and have left, do you feel the occasional urge to stop back and see what gives now? Why not pen a piece while you're here? It's not all that hard to do. The articles don't have to be of novel length... Persona Paper presents interesting possibilities...

Good day to you

May 27, 2017, 11:18 PM

I agree. I almost feel like the last man standing. I will begin fresh at HubPages and just a little bit at myLot. Meantime I will be available via email and will be reading more of your articles at Querky Science and Decoded Science. Maybe one day a new site will exist that pays and that provides some level of good writers. myLot is not a serious writing site but I find it comforting to be able to stay in contact with some former writers of Bubblews. I will never stop writing. It's always been my nature.

My user name is MegL. Is that the problem?

There should be some new type of format I agree. And if things keep going like they are I am not very encouraged I have to admit. I am glad you have always been supportive of me Vincent. You led me out of Yahoo! C N and into the land of bubbles. Things were going well for a while until the big bad Panda 4.0 algorythm. As of October 1, 2015 Google unrolled the latest update of Panda to version 4.2 and that was half a year ago.

I can't remove a former comment I made. But in any case I appreciate you for following me. It means a lot to me.

I have got a Hubpage account, so I guess I'd better get busy using that! I keep an eye on your 'Quirky Science' pages.
