The Eye of the Storm

We all know that there is an eye of calm in the center of a hurricane, but to experience it is quite different from intellectually knowing it. Horrible gale winds and bullet rains suddenly ease up and the sky is blue, the weather, tranquil. Then, just as

An Intriguing Title

Every once in a while, I come up with an idea I'd love to follow through on I do not attempt to put into action. Although I write articles on science and related topics, I do not kid myself into thinking I am an author. Oh, my writing is not bad, technica

More and More Ridiculous (but interesting) Dreams

Why do I do it? Why do I waste your time? Well, if you were in my shoes, you'd see my dreams as amazing, better than the best action movie! Last night, a close friend and I were walking along, not far from a chasm that, at the base of it, had a railroad l

Was There A Global Flood?

When we were kids, we were told the story of Noah and the Ark. Why there are even coloring books that depict an old man, pairs of animals of all sorts, and a cute little boat, with some of the animals sticking their long necks out windows. Some believe in

"And I saw, and look! a pale horse..."

The title of this article is taken verbtim from the Bible book of Revelation (Apocalypse), chapter 6, verse 8a. The pale horse is one of a group of 'four horses of the apocalypse'. These symbolic horsemen are described by an angel, and they describe ongoi

Writing Online can be a Seasonal Thing

I own, maintain, and currently am the only writer, on a science site called QuirkyScience. My articles are almost exclusively evergreen, which means they will hold up over time, and so should invite an ongoing readership. An online writer may promote his

Dream Deduction

When you get old - particularly if you have pain/mobility issues - you may take a measure of relief in sleep and the dreams that accompany it. At least I do. I look forward to dreaming. Well I am interested in the thought processes within a dream. No, I d

A Chronicle of Sam Moon

The following is for Anthony Davis, a close acquaintance, to show the advantage of dialogue for immediate involvement... "Hm. You're about out of seed Josie, aren't you? We'll fix that."Samuel Popovich hobbled over to the cabinet he kept for Josie

Astronomy: Me and the Universe

When I was a youngster, I would go outside, particularly in the wintertime, and gaze, spellbound, at the night sky. How beautiful, how inspiring! But when my parents bought me a kids' telescope, it was horribly inadequate and highly disappointing. I did n

Winter Doctors' Visits

OK. How many of us oldsters, over the age of 50, haven't had doctors' visits in the winter months of December-January? In fact, it might be likened to the "sales" at new car businesses. Well, I've certainly had my share. In addition to routine visits, I'v

Hey I see you have made your Facebook wall all about your website. Q S . That is a good way to let people know what you are all about. I like it. I had to send a friend request because I apparently have fallen off your radar lately. I hope you accept my friend request.

If you used to write at Persona Paper and have left, do you feel the occasional urge to stop back and see what gives now? Why not pen a piece while you're here? It's not all that hard to do. The articles don't have to be of novel length... Persona Paper presents interesting possibilities...

Good day to you

I agree. I almost feel like the last man standing. I will begin fresh at HubPages and just a little bit at myLot. Meantime I will be available via email and will be reading more of your articles at Querky Science and Decoded Science. Maybe one day a new site will exist that pays and that provides some level of good writers. myLot is not a serious writing site but I find it comforting to be able to stay in contact with some former writers of Bubblews. I will never stop writing. It's always been my nature.

My user name is MegL. Is that the problem?

There should be some new type of format I agree. And if things keep going like they are I am not very encouraged I have to admit. I am glad you have always been supportive of me Vincent. You led me out of Yahoo! C N and into the land of bubbles. Things were going well for a while until the big bad Panda 4.0 algorythm. As of October 1, 2015 Google unrolled the latest update of Panda to version 4.2 and that was half a year ago.
