What is That Crunch in My Romano Cheese?

For a man on a limited income, treats come at a high price. Rarely do I get to splurge. One of my more curious treats is a wedge of imported Romano cheese. Tangy, flavorful, and having a firm, yet most delicate crumbling texture, I savor each bite. Interes

Our Weird Experience with Hurricane Florence

I admit it. I tend to bury my head in the sand. On the other hand, my wife is an alarmist. Sound like a marriage made in Heaven? Well when we first heard Florence (then a hurricane) was coming head on toward North Carolina and, logically, according to pas

What Does It Really Mean, Best in Initial Quality

Words are incredible. Skillfully and thoughtfully used, they can be a real asset. I think of the scripture, "Like apples of gold in silver carvings Is a word spoken at the right time." - Proverbs 25:11.Words can be used in exactly the opposite way, as well

Roblox Vs. Minecraft - My Grandkids' Point of Contention

My wife and I are raising 3 grandchildren. One is aged 9, one 6, and one 4. The nine-year-old and the six-year-old are intense about their online video games. One favors Minecraft. One Roblox. Now I never got involved with Minecraft. However, I was "drag

Why Do So Many Email Spam Messages Incorporate the Word Garland?

The world is full of people. Some of them are good people. Some are bad people. Some are just not-so-good people. Whichever is the case, email accounts usually take in copious amounts of worthless trash, spam emails, that are intended to aggravate, harass

Facebook - Technology Gone Awry for This Guy

I decided to get rid of my personal Facebook account in favor of one closely tied to my writing endeavors. To that end, I opened another GMail account and started my new account. And all went well, just as I had anticipated it would. Well, it went well for

How FAR Can You See? A Friend Said, "To California"

I have a friend whom I haven't see in a while who used to say the most startling things. I'm not sure if he was kidding, or just didn't realize what he was saying. Here are a couple of them: Bacon is a low fat food, because you COOK OUT all the fat befo

Ever Heard of DIAMONDOIDS?

Diamonds are a girl's best friend, so goes the saying. I always kidded, diamonds are a dog's best friend... doggy diamonds (poop). But all kidding aside, there is such a thing as a diamondoid. In fact, there is a variety of diamondoids. Contrary to what y

If you used to write at Persona Paper and have left, do you feel the occasional urge to stop back and see what gives now? Why not pen a piece while you're here? It's not all that hard to do. The articles don't have to be of novel length... Persona Paper presents interesting possibilities...

Good day to you

I agree. I almost feel like the last man standing. I will begin fresh at HubPages and just a little bit at myLot. Meantime I will be available via email and will be reading more of your articles at Querky Science and Decoded Science. Maybe one day a new site will exist that pays and that provides some level of good writers. myLot is not a serious writing site but I find it comforting to be able to stay in contact with some former writers of Bubblews. I will never stop writing. It's always been my nature.

There should be some new type of format I agree. And if things keep going like they are I am not very encouraged I have to admit. I am glad you have always been supportive of me Vincent. You led me out of Yahoo! C N and into the land of bubbles. Things were going well for a while until the big bad Panda 4.0 algorythm. As of October 1, 2015 Google unrolled the latest update of Panda to version 4.2 and that was half a year ago.

I can't remove a former comment I made. But in any case I appreciate you for following me. It means a lot to me.

I have got a Hubpage account, so I guess I'd better get busy using that! I keep an eye on your 'Quirky Science' pages.
