I once wrote a micro-short story in which the witness in a Federal case is killed by drone. You can read it here... https://www.quirkyscience.com/thumbnail-mystery-2/ Just the other day, my grandson

Even an LED Draws Some Electricity

What is it about an LED that draws my attention? Well, for one thing, I expect complete darkness in my bedroom at night. Even an LED bothers me. So I hide my computer monitor's LED at night, as well as any other LEDs in the room.So I notice them. So what?

The Man in a White Jacket

I was strolling downtown when I noticed him. He was about six-foot-one or six-foot-two. He had blonde hair. He wore what looked like a full-length white lab coat. Clearly he was either a doctor or some sort of lab technician. He was not walking leisurely,

Bugs - Getting rid of 'em

Do you remember when you'd hear your neighbor had bought some pest traps they put up in their yard? Often, they employed a sexual attractant, a chemical called a pheromone. The theory was that whatever bugs were in your yard would be drawn into the trap,

My Little Red Rocket

Have you ever wanted to go "one step beyond"? I know I have. I suppose I always had a scientific mind about me. Combine that with being a kid and you are in trouble. Take me. When I was a kid, I was given a toy. A red pump rocket. You fill the rocket part

Obituaries - Where Have They Gone?

Maybe I'm just "old school," but if someone I knew died, I would go to the newspaper to read his or her obituary. It would provide details, such as when and where some service might be held, but more importantly to me, it told me details of their life and

The Lone Wolf - Can You Relate?

The phrase "lone wolf" suggests a person who is at his best when he is alone. Possibly you are a bit of a lone wolf. Anyway, to me it was intriguing. So when I discovered there was a TV show with that title, I checked it out. Not only that, but I checked o

Dementia - Is It Truly Loss of Memory?

"He's losing his memory; he's suffering from dementia." You've heard this before, possibly many times (unless you've "forgotten" it). But is this statement true as worded, or is it a bit misleading? I'm not here to answer the question, but to get the read

What's for Dessert? The Gelato Odzniewzewski Concoction

Everyone has a name. Why, there was even an actor named X Brands! Some names are short and sweet, appealing to the eyes and ears. Then again, there are names that are neither. We will speak of one that falls into both categories, A talented young fellow na

Hey I see you have made your Facebook wall all about your website. Q S . That is a good way to let people know what you are all about. I like it. I had to send a friend request because I apparently have fallen off your radar lately. I hope you accept my friend request.

If you used to write at Persona Paper and have left, do you feel the occasional urge to stop back and see what gives now? Why not pen a piece while you're here? It's not all that hard to do. The articles don't have to be of novel length... Persona Paper presents interesting possibilities...

Good day to you

I agree. I almost feel like the last man standing. I will begin fresh at HubPages and just a little bit at myLot. Meantime I will be available via email and will be reading more of your articles at Querky Science and Decoded Science. Maybe one day a new site will exist that pays and that provides some level of good writers. myLot is not a serious writing site but I find it comforting to be able to stay in contact with some former writers of Bubblews. I will never stop writing. It's always been my nature.

There should be some new type of format I agree. And if things keep going like they are I am not very encouraged I have to admit. I am glad you have always been supportive of me Vincent. You led me out of Yahoo! C N and into the land of bubbles. Things were going well for a while until the big bad Panda 4.0 algorythm. As of October 1, 2015 Google unrolled the latest update of Panda to version 4.2 and that was half a year ago.http://searchengineland.com/google-panda-4-2-is-still-rolling-out-232095
