Saturday Morning Cat Mischief
"Don't even think about it," I warn as she tries to slink back to where she had been.
At first, she had settled next to me. She was in cute kitty mode. Of course, I had known that she was up to some cat mischief.
Chomp!

Wednesday Wandering
Given the wickedness of many of our winter days, I have not gotten out very much during the past few months. However, the temperatures have shifted.
Wednesday, however, was nice... and our schedule was actually open. So, off we went to enjoy a bit of the

Queen Kitty Report: More Strange Human Behavior
"Don't play with that. Really, you have toys. Things you can't ingest," she says, taking away my fun new toy.
Can't ingest? Now, what fun is that? I simply do not understand the human obsession with making sure that kitties not ingest things. Really, twis

Queen Kitty Report: Strange Human Behavior
I have spent years studying human behavior. I still do not fully understand much of it.
For instance, why is it that humans say that they want to accomplish a certain but behave in a way that contradicts that goal? That is what Mommy does. She says that s

Queen Kitty Report: Whisker Freezing Cold
It is cold enough for this kitty to freeze her whiskers. That is what I have decided based on my forays into "near the door" territory.
"Why do you bother doing that?" my little sister asks when I flee that area after a few seconds--whiskers nearly frozen

Unimpressed
"Oh. Look," I say to my boyfriend.
He peers toward the direction in which I am pointing.
"I thought she would like that better than the thing on the Civil War, but I guess I was wrong," I muse as I look at the cat who has her behind pointing in the dire

Queen Kitty Report: Weary of Winter
Why won't winter go away? It isn't that I am freezing my paws off. Really, I don't go out in that stuff. I am strictly an indoor kitty, as are my siblings. However, our human parents whine so very much about how cold it is and how, come springtime, they wi

Queen Kitty Report: A Few Thoughts
Queen Kitty here. All I have to say is that, at last, I have wrested control of the computer from the human! It was not easy to do so, either. She is very possessive of the machine.
Okay. So now that I have my paws on the computer, I have so much to say.

A Look at: 'Peg + Cat'
One of the complaints that I sometimes come across in my wanderings about the internet is that there is a lack of quality children's programming. Color me baffled by this statement.
While it is true that commercial channels can easily be accused of a dear

Hello, Arctic
Queen Kitty is currently declaring that she has had great success in her hunting. I don't know if she has captured a catnip mouse for certain, but that seems the most likely prey.
She shall ensure that her humans do not need to venture out into the cold f

Hello there! Thank you for the welcome. I do stay busy with six boys and the furbabies. The older three are grown and I have to keep up with them as best as I can. Being in their 20's they are all living on their own and I have to track them down every once in a while. The three younger boys keep me pretty busy on a daily basis. Love your Queen Kitty! Looks as if she runs the house.
I didn't realize you just joined here too. I feel like this site was a hidden secret or something, I have been looking for something like this again for a LONG time!
