With a long list of stand up comic sets, movies and songs, Eddie Murphy became a star around the world. Some of his most notable movies include 48 Hours with Nick Nolte, Beverly Hills Cop directed by Martin Brest, The Nutty Professor which not only did Murphy play the parts of the professor and his arrogant alter ego "Buddy Love" but he took on Five other characters in this movie as well! Even though there are many more movies, Murphy's role of "Donkey" in the Shrek series highlighted his acting, comic and singing talents all in one. So how about it... Are you an Eddie Murphy Fan? I used to be, but not so much anymore. I like his earlier work from the 1980's, but not so much the newer stuff.

I haven't seen much of Eddie Murphy recently, but loved him in Doctor Doolittle and 48 Hours of course. My favorite role though has to be in Trading Places, a classic comedy.

I'm the same way. Loved him in Beverly Hills Cop, but I haven't followed many of his more recent offerings.
