Just trying out something new - do you try out something new too?

How many of you here like adventure and trying out new things? I never thought I would be one to try too many new things but I guess people think of me as an adventurer as we sold our house and everything in it and moved into an RV to live life to the fullest. So people may think of us as adventurous, and I guess we are, but I think that others are more than us. Such as people who have many kids or those that live in a house for many. many years. We do not have kids but enjoy teaching them new things. So - Do you like to try out new things or stick with the old? I put a few more answers in there so it is not just a yes or no answer. Laura Jevtich, enjoying this new site! OH NO, I did not put in any page breaks, sorry folks. I will do better next time!

HAHA, it's ok we'll let it slide this time :) That is what happens when you try something new, you sometimes make mistakes but then you learn and things are better next time.

Yes, and I want to learn because then I can have even more excellent and fun polls! So happy about this site!

I like trying new things sometimes but there are things I do not want to try (bungie jumping)

Today I: tried a new hairdresser and a new hairstyle; made a new salad for dinner; washed my new shirt; bombed our trailer for the first time (invested with gnats); made the first pass deadheading my iris; pushed a worm pill down our half-wild outside cat (a REAL first); and, most important, registered with a new writing site--this one.

Me neither with bungie jumping!

Laura-n-Sasha wrote on June 12, 2014, 1:02 AM

That is a bunch of firsts!

Then you have come to the right place!

Just a quick heads-up, one of the mods was saying earlier we can't post any referral links here - even our Persona Paper links.

Laura-n-Sasha wrote on June 13, 2014, 10:32 AM

Well, as you can see, it is not a live link. So a person would have to highlight it and paste it in. Thought that is a little weird as it would bring in more people, but whatever. I can not change it in a poll. Thanks for the heads up.

I think you are Extremely adventurous to sell your home and go RV'ing. Best of success to that venture

I love to do many things the way I always did them and am sentimental about this. However, I've also always been one for adventure, so you can count me among those who like to go beyond the boundaries of the conventional box. As the poem by Robert Frost goes (paraphrased here): "I'm taking the path less traveled by and that's making all of the difference!!!"
