Which comedian is your favourite?
Well up until about 2 years ago I was never really like comedians full stop, but then John Bishop came into my life....OMG I just love him! I think it is because he is funny without actually trying to be. I recently went to his tour in Nottingham and I have never laughed so much , I was crying with laughter! I found that he doesn't actually tell jokes, he just talks about every day life and he just make me howl. My friend very kindly bought his authobiography for Christmas, which I am really looking forward to reading. So who is your favourite comedian?
John Bishop yes please
Michael McIntyre is my cup of tea
Lee Evans lights my life

I am not really into comedy these days here in the U.S., I watch more reality TV and sports.

Of the ones you mention, I quite like Michael McIntyre, but my real favourite comedian of the moment is Rob Brydon. I don't like Steve Coogan so much, but the two of them are a great double act when they get together!

I can't really say I have a favorite comedian these days. At various times in the past I enjoyed the humor of The Smothers Brothers, George Carlin, Steve Martin, Robin Williams and Stephen Wright.

You know, I kind of like Bob Newhart. He's funny without being overbearing or vulgar. He just seems like a nice guy.

Oh, how I loved the Smothers Brothers when I was little! Back before their variety show they had a sitcom where Dick played a writer for a magazine and Tom was a merchant marine, lost at sea, who came back as an angel. "Curb Your Tongue, Knave!" is classic.
