Are you a vegetarian?

I know so many people who are vegetarian these days that it is obviously becoming much more popular. My sister gave up eating meat about f fifteen years ago as she just was not that excited by meat but she is not fussy so will pick out vegetables from a stew for example. Some are vegan which is another level again while others are pescatarian and eat fish but not meat. Others I know eat white meat but not red meat so basically exclude mammals from their diet. I am happy eating veggie foods but do also enjoy meat and fish and seafood. I am fussy with my meat though as I hate chewy or fatty stuff and try to buy meat that has been farmed fairly and the animals allowed to be outside rather than in cages or pens.

I'm an omnivore, but make vegetarian suppers a couple nights per week. It's not anything that I even started to do deliberately; those meals just made their way into the rotation. I don't think I could give up meat altogether, though.

I am not vegetarian, but I don't eat much meat for a variety of reasons. I was first put off meat when I was growing up and the cheap sausages/mince we had often had nasty gristle in them. I also hate fat. So it's easier to not eat much meat, often.

I'm not fussy when it comes to food, but I don't like a lot of fat on my food either it can put me off if there's too much. I do like my veggies though

I am a vegetarian, and my boyfriend has become wholly one as well. We also tend toward a fairly local diet, and I want to keep things even more local.

I eat veggie foods but I am certainly not vegetarian. I also eat meat, milk, fish. In fact I eat all I want.

I love vegetables but I am not exclusively eating it... hehehehe I love eating hotdogs, ham, chicken and other yummy and nutritional foods. Hehehehehe - seafoods I love it too! I guess I want different types of foods except for exotic foods.

I'll eat anything including paper if I'm hungry

catsholiday wrote on January 19, 2015, 2:59 PM

I'd have to be pretty desperate to eat paper!

I don't like cheap meat either - I don't mind stewing meat so long as it is well cooked and falling apart!

Right now I'm an omnivore, but I've tried to be vegetarian in the past. I wish I had more willpower because I often feel guilty about eating animals and also believe that a vegetarian diet may be healthier.

I'm a proud omnivore. We eat vegetarian meals here and there - or extend a meat dish by adding legumes. But everyone in my household loves their meat! We also love veggies. We just don't believe in cutting out any food groups.
