How do you keep up with friends?

When I lived in Australia despite the fact we did have a phone I could not afford to call the Uk so I wrote letters once a week to my parents and family back in the UK. My son now lives in Canada as does my sister and her family and we NEVER write letters as we email, phone and Skype each other. I do wonder whether the art of letter writing is going to die out with all the ease of computer communication. Do you still write letters or do yo also now use email, facebook, texts phone calls and skype as means of communication

Writing is something I used to love doing but I find the post takes ages these days to arrive.

The post just doesn't cut it these days when you can receive a response to an email in seconds - your letter wouldn't even have arrived yet!

I agree and you can email one question while a letter you would have to write a lot more to make it worthwhilet

Most of my keeping in touch is on Facebook. I use the phone and email very rarely these days - usually for business. I text most times with the immediate family and my neighbour. I haven't used snail mail in years.
