Do you like the Twilight books/movies?

Ok, I hate to confess, but I LOVE Twilight! The acting may not be the best and Kirsten Stewart really really annoys me with her boring face, BUT I really like the vampires and werewolves story line. When the films were first released, I refused to watch them, however, everyone was talking about them, so I thought I'd give them a shot. In the end, I was kind of hooked. I am Team Edward, as his love for Bella is clearly true and unconditional, although, Jacob is kind of hunky, which I like too, hehe!

Yes, I like them.

I have to say I am a huge fan of the books, the films not so much for pretty much the same reasons as you. Prefer to get lost in my own head as I read

I enjoyed the books and read all of them, but i wouldn't say I loved them. I was a bit put out by the fact the first book tried to make stalking out to be romantic. it a little worrying to think teenage girls are reading that bit.

It's a mixed bag. Romantic or stalking? Witchy or loving? Written by a Mormon. ??

One of my colleagues in the sixth grade is a major Twilight fan. She's even been to Forks. I get under her skin when I tell students in a stage whisper so she can hear me that their math textbook is a better love story than Twilight.

I proudly admit to the truth...I DO! Didn't think I would at first, but after seeing the last half of the first movie, I was intrigued. I bought the series of books, then purchased the DVDs. The series actually had a rather good message, if one really pays attention. The biggest drawback was that pouting, miserable-looking Kirsten Stewart! I have no idea why any vampire would be attracted to such a loser, LOL!

I really don't like that kind of stuff at all.

Sorry, but from an editorial point of view, the books are badly written, badly edited, trashy and just WRONG on so many levels. Also not a fan of Harry Potter, Hunger Games or Fifty Shades, for various reasons. Game of Thrones is lengthy and confusing in parts, but then so is the Hobbit-Lord of the Rings series and I love those, having come to them later on in life. They were all recommended reading at school but I preferred hard sci-fi at that point.

I had to go with "hate them" for a few reasons. First, the writing is just plain awful. Second, the weird, obsessive relationships give me the creeps and seem to send a not-so-healthy message to young girls.

Generally I enjoy vampire movies but disliked the first Twilight movie so much I refuse to see the rest. Kristen Stewart has the personality of a blade of grass and Robert Pattinson is just creepy which is good for a vamp but not this heartthrob he is supposed to be.

I read the first one and barely made it through the darn thing. It was so boring for me. I thought it was going to be about know, bloodsucking...killings....all that gross stuff. I don't particularly like love stories.

Now, I did like the first three Harry Potters. I couldn't do any more after that. I gave Fifty Shades about fifty pages, then had to quit...the story line and dialogue were so stupid. Game of Thrones was confusing...I gave up on it also. I'm a historical fiction fan...kings and queens. I grew up reading Victoria Holt.

I am a huge fan of Twilight movies/books. In fact, aside from being able to watch all the movies , I also have a complete set of Twilight books.

Team Jacob! I'm not sure why, but I like the pack of werewolves. Twilight is actually streaming on Netflix right now, and I was considering watching it! AGAIN, by the way. lol
