What is the most annoying thing about the new Bubblews redemption policy?

Bubblews recently updated their redemption policy. http://www.bubblews.com/news/9760765-redemption-update According to this update no redemption before November 11. 2014. will be honoured by them. Many people had missing payments and the site came up with a new feature not too long ago to claim those payouts instead of email inquiries; only to find out that Bubblews will not take any actions to resolve any of these claims. In addition they adjusted the rate again which effects previous activities too not just the future ones. As a result of that people experiencing decreased balance in their account. Oppose to previous updates there is no comment section on this one where people could express their feelings, concerns about the changes.

All of them. They have just lied to people blatantly and now are trying to justify their actions with even worse reasons.

Exactly my thoughts. They decreased the rate, they have a right to do that, but it shouldn't effect the past earnings that was calculated with an already decreased rate. Plus they made up that feature to claim past payment for nothing. It was just a cover-up so they didn't have to deal with the emails asking for missing redemption.
How long will they blame the situation on the scammers?

I am bothered by all of the above. However, the thing that bothers me the most is the fact that they aren't going to be paying writers for the redemptions made before October 11. It isn't fair to cheat a lot of people because there were a few cheaters on the site.

dorannmwin me too. They have a right to change their policy and rates however it should be announced ahead of a time and only should effect future activities. Telling us that we won't get paid because there were a lot of fraudulent activities is a lame excuse and doesn't sound very respectful placing everybody in the cheater category.
They claim they made changes as soon as they learned about their mistakes, but I don't think they had intentions of paying any missing payments, they just wanted us to get off their back. Their latest update proves that.

All of them! Bubblews have annoyed a LOT of members, it's ok though, because honest sites like PP are now benefiting from an influx of great writers

kelemenk wrote on January 2, 2015, 4:58 PM

I think what will be Bubblews' loss it will be PP's gain. I hope to see many of my previous connections coming here.

It all frustrating! I thankfully got my November payment but I lost 40 dollars on my December payment so that sucked!

kelemenk wrote on January 2, 2015, 9:47 PM

Yes it does, they have some loyal people left since they decreased the rates back in October, but this was a new low, how things were handled so they might be losing a lot of members this time. Even if people don't leave they will definitely be contributing less.

katiemmoore25 wrote on January 2, 2015, 10:37 PM

Yeah, i feel like it was really low and not handled properly or professionally. A lot of people have left and the ones that are still there are definitely slowing down.

kelemenk wrote on January 3, 2015, 7:18 AM

I didn't leave yet, because of other members. On the other hand there won't be too much point to stay if people will not write.
I hope that I will see a lot of them here soon.

All of the above. The honest and good people on that site shouldn't have to be punished thanks to the spammers and cheaters. How is that fair? So many have lost so much. :(

FreyaYuki wrote on January 3, 2015, 8:33 AM

Agree. There are lots of honest and good people there and they shouldn't be made to pay for the sins of the cheaters and spammers. How can that be fair? And how can they be faulted for the mistakes of others when they didn't even do anything wrong and when they all tried hard to follow and abide by the rules and terms?

The whole situation over there is a mess. Worst of all, I still can't wrap my head around how they can justify simply "clearing the books" just because they say they don't have the money. If it were that easy I could be debt free tomorrow.

FourWalls wrote on January 3, 2015, 11:17 PM

It's all of the above, but I voted for the lack of honesty. If they had been honest and forthright in everything I don't think people would be nearly as upset as they are.

By now I am sure you have heard that Bubblews died and no longer exists on the web. It had such potential if it could have been run by people who knew how to run it.
