Should The Government Provide For Single Parents?
Relationships don't always work out and sometimes the mother is left to pick up the pieces. Everything in life is getting more expensive and not all moms get an allowance for their kids. There are grants out there for almost everything, but if a father is missing and nobody can find him then moms are left on their own. Not everyone is strong enough to handle break-ups, divorces or life in general. If the government would have been able to help single moms then they might have had more hope. The kids are left and they look up to the mother, and the father just moved on and never even worry about his kids or their welfare. One of the biggest reasons that women stay in abused relationships are because they don't have anywhere to go or financially they can't move away and have to endure such abuse. If the government could have helped wouldn't this put them in a much bigger position to start over than to not really have any choices?

Yes It sounds like a great idea.
No Explain why.
Maybe If they can prove that they are being abused and dont get any allowance from the father.

For those moms who have been there they know that stress takes them away from their kids, because they have to put in more effort to be successful.

They should help the single parents especially the single mom. It is so hard to meet the needs of children.

hi ... here in my country single parents receive a monthly allowance from the government. in order to avail of this previlege the applicant or the single parent must have several documents to support her claim such as a certificate of no income from the BIR . it takes hard word and perseverance but after all the hard word monthly compensation will be received and enjoyed by the single parent which is a big help to the budget.

Sure. Why not? And, why are those, so opposed to abortion, also opposed to sex ed, condoms (any birth control) and food stamps?

I agree and moms will do anything for their kids, and sometimes their kids don't understand why they need to suffer as well

Honestly I don't know, but lately people just get babies to get the grant and this is crazy; our country is so overpopulated and some of those parents use the grant money for themselves and not their kids

If I were to choose, yes, but since I am in the corrupt country, this wouldn't happen.

People have to responsible for themselves and stop looking at the government nanny state to take care of them. And it isn't the government providing for them but our tax dollars and I don't want my tax dollars going to single parents.
