So Far From Home

I have been visiting family in Idaho for a whole month! I live 8 hours away in Oregon and now that my daughter is in school, I can't just leave and come visit whenever I want. So, this summer I decided to come and stay a month. I have 3 sisters 1 brother and both of my parents living within 20 min of eachother and here I am living 8 hours away =( I am loving the visit, but I am starting to miss my own normal routine and my own things and especially my husband. This trip has made me realize how much I rely on him and how much he helps with the kids and my sanity! We only have one more week left and although it will be super sad to leave my family, I will also be very happy to be home =)

lizliz that is though I am currentyl visiting my family in my country and in about a week I will be returning home in the US, it is going to be a little sad when that moment comes, but I do miss my daily routine a little bit too.

There really is no place like home. I love what's left of my family, too, but I hate having to travel for five or more hours one way to see them.

It's so nice that you have a close family to visit, but it also sounds like you have a wonderful family of your own, as well. You are a really lucky lady!

I can imagine your husband was very happy to see you and the kids back home again. He likely missed you folks as much or more than you missed him.
