Kiribati

I just visited the small country known as Kiribati. Try to Google pictures of it and its very beautiful. This country is part of the Australian continent but its not a Part of the country Australia. The people seemed to be a mix of Pacific Islanders and Micronesian. The people there will remind you a bit of Hawaiians and Filipinos. They were very friendly and Hospitable. I don't have much pictures to share since I don't want to be a public person. I am sure I am not the only private person here.

One reason why I decided to have a vacation here?

Well this country maybe gone in a century because of global warming. Their country is being slowly eaten by the sea. Their government do try to save their country but if they can't save it, they were planning to buy land from a big area country. I do hope when the time happens, they will find a new home. I would prefer it though if they can save their country.

These people are not destroyers of mother nature. In fact they do take care of their nature. This small country have no shades of pollution but they were receiving the punishment of the world's fault.

They have a very interesting culture and I feel depressed that I may have contributed to the punishment they were having. Well most of us do. We people from countries with pollution are responsible for the suffering of these people.

Wow I can't image what it would be like to lose your land to mother nature.

I notice that Kiribati won their first ever medal at the Commonwealth Games. It was a Gold in weightlifting.

Can't they just build up from the island, using it as a foundation and remain above sea-level?

I know, mother nature is being unfair to them, they dont have pollution and they take care of their natural resources but they are the ones being punished,.

I am not sure if they can afford it, their country relies of tourism but what they earn from tourism is not enough.

and people still keep polluting this earth. Its sad that these people are the ones getting the hit from mother nature. Its like the world punished them. I do hope united nations will save them.

What an interesting country. And how unfortunate. I share your value of privacy. I share pictures but they are not of people.
