Working/Volunteering with Friends

I'm all about networking and keeping in touch with old friends from back in the day. It's so funny because people don't think that they are thought of or cared for by people they don't know or haven't seen in years but it's not true! Every single time I run into a person, I always want to know how they've been and what they been up too, most importantly have they stayed out of trouble?. I found an old classmate/friend of mine from a training on Facebook and she told me about an opportunity to at a place called The Career Wardrobe. I needed community service hours anyway, so I chose the site.

I really enjoy this place! Working with Friends are such fun especially because we get a chance to catch up with one another as well as work together on the floor helping clients. Our duties are to sort , assist women with professional attire for interviews, school training, or the start of a new job which is very exciting. It's great to know that we were able to help women get back into the workforce with confidence.

"When you look good, You feel good!"

I recently learned from a client last week that there's also a program that takes referrals for Men to come in and are eligible to pick out professional attire as well which is awesome. I'm willing to do as much as I can to keep companies like these around that are so empowering to up and coming or seasoned professionals who need the services here in

Volunteering for worthy causes is a great way to meet the right kinds of friends. You already know they are the giving type, not just the taking type. Real friendships are built on common values.
