Been Out Of The Loop

No, I didn’t plan on leaving PP. Actually, I didn’t leave the site. I have just been busy. First, there is the endless worry with mom. My mother has been sick for many months. She keeps having doctor appointments and endless tests. So far every test has come back normal. She is not normal. She has lost 30 pounds and her stomach hurts. Yes, I am annoyed at the whole ordeal she is going through. Are next step may be to go to a nearby city, with a bigger hospital. She hates that step. She is 85 years old and hates any type of change. But she hates this change.

Needless to say I have been spending a lot of time with her. I also have been trying to find her a new television set. This meant redoing her living room because her old entertainment set would not hold the current flat screen models. This also meant several trips to the stores to find the perfect television set and entertainment center. But at last that goal has been accomplished.

During all of this I had a bout of a bad ear infection that left me hearing impaired for a while. I was also scared that I may have to have surgery on my ear. My ear is better. But I still have pain once in a while. If it continues, I will go to an ear doctor.

As for writing, mostly I have been busy copying my Yahoo articles. I wish I could say I have busy with a lot of projects. Maybe in the next few weeks I will be busy.

So I am out of the loop. I will try to catch up on things here and on a couple more sites during the next few days. I hope all is well with all my writing friends.

Real life always comes first. No apologies are needed when one is busy.

I hope things are starting to settle down for you and your Mom now, Linda. I know it's tough to balance everything.
