A Feast, I tell you, an Eight-part Feast

My husband and I have just been to see mum-in-law and her partner for the evening.

We had the most amazing , as she ordered in a real from a local delivery place.

In 45 minutes, the delivery driver rolled up with the following selection:

  1. three different kinds of kebab meat
  2. a hot chilli sauce and a raita dip
  3. a cheesy garlic pizza bread
  4. warm pitta breads
  5. a lovely crispy, crunchy green salad
  6. coleslaw
  7. onion rings
  8. chips

We've not had a pile of like that since the last time we had order-in in America! We are now both stuffed square and the rest of it is sitting in the fridge here, to be used for lunch and supper for the next few days. I am going to enjoy that, for sure.

Having just read SandraLynn 's post about Your Top 8 I thought it was prophetic that this feast worked itself out into eight parts, but it's not really a top of anything.

Sounds delicious! I love kebabs (we called them brochettes in Quebec.) My favourite is a good lamb souvlaki served with fresh veg and tzatziki on a warm pita, but I also like a Mediterranean-style chicken brochette with rice and home fries :)

It does sound like quite a delicious 8 part feast.
