Hallelujah. I can get online again

The has been and we now have a working connection on our new network.

That means I can post articles again! The old was slower than a snail in treacle, at 1MB, although we were supposed to have 7MB according to the agent I spoke to last week.

I am so glad to be rid of that old connection. Changing has saved us money and it promises a better speed so we can stream things again. A couple of weeks ago when I was rebuilding my computer, it took me two hours to download Firefox and an hour to download iTunes. That was simply not acceptable, so I logged a straight away with our old while my husband was upstairs arranging to switch to our new ISP.

I could log in here to post comments but the New Article page refused to load. No matter how many words I wrote, the word counter remained at zero and the Min Length OK? indicator stayed stubbornly on the red x. Then, about half an hour before the engineer arrived, even the login page refused to stop cycling around aimlessly.

I tell you, the engineer arrived in the nick of time, or else violence would have been perpetrated on technology, for sure.

Glad things are working better for you now. We recently changed Internet providers because ours kept dropping.

Thanks AngelSharum . This means battle can rejoin on posts and comments on this and many other sites now. I'm just off to spend the evening uploading to eBay now that the site has actually stopped spooling and actually works for the first time in weeks.
