We are going to delete your account if you do not log in

Are you kidding me? I'm waiting to see if this site straightens out. We've gone from payments being .01 per hit and like to .001. Effectively taking page hits from 500 to to 5,000 in order to collect $5. Add to it the fact that I can't seem to stay logged in for any length of time, and it's not that I don't check Persona Paper, It's that I am NOT logged in when I do because the site has spontaneously logged me out after X amount of time, which isn't even half a day. It should really be NEVER, but I guess that's beside the point.

So, I am hoping that this site eventually gets straightened out and makes it worth my while to post, but as it is, it would take me 250 articles in order to collect $5 with my average current article monetary worth being .02 cents. I cannot survive on that, and I do not know many writers that can.

At 10 articles a day,it would take 25 days to reach $5.00. last I checked, that didn't pay anyone's rent or mortgage.

So, Let me know when you guys get it straight. I would love to write more here, but not with those being the odds.

no it wont but if you get paid, post a payment proof on loads of work at home sites then you may earn from referrals soon, that will also help bring more people to this site, this is my plan, i also am working on other earning sites so all together it will be more spending money.

shadowconn wrote on July 25, 2014, 12:32 PM

that's not a bad idea, Astral. I hadn't thought of that. I've just been sitting here in a holding pattern waiting for things to improve.

FreyaYuki wrote on July 25, 2014, 12:40 PM

Is this true? Will your account really be deleted if you don't log in? How did you know about this? Where can I read about this? I'm new here and didn't see anything about this at all though I've read the rules, FAQ and other such relevant pages.

Why would they delete your account if you don't log in? But what if you experience some troubles or problems that prevent you from logging on to the site or even being online? For example, what if you're going to a place where there's no internet connection or what if you experience some internet connectivity issues or some other problem, etc? Does this mean if you don't get to log in for a day or something, your account gets deleted? What's the criteria for this, like how many times a week do you have to log in to the site to make sure that your account isn't deleted?

CrazyWit wrote on July 25, 2014, 12:44 PM

now this makes me scared as soon as I step in. Since Im a student I guess I will have to keep my laptop on and keep my account logged in while I do my study work then? :/

melody23 wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:13 PM

Guys please calm down, your account is not going to be deleted if you don't log in every day. I went looking for the post telling us exactly how long we had to be inactive before being deleted but I couldn't find it so instead I will tag MaeLou here and ask her to clarify.

astraldreamer wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:18 PM

shadowconn also i think admin is going to try up the rate at a later date, i hope you try that idea and it works for you, and maybe spend more time commenting on others and writing the full 15 articles a day thats allowed, the more people you have following you, the more who will see your article in their feed, so should equal more money emoticon

MaeLou wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:30 PM

We definitely don't portray our site as a "get rich quick" scheme. It's unrealistic to expect a newborn site to pay out hundreds and hundreds to one member in a single month. Writing here is for supplemental income - not as a way to earn a living.

You've written 4 articles, 2 of them only being in the last few days. If you expect to actually earn here, you should be here posting and interacting a little bit more.

That said, you aren't deleted for not logging in until it's been a month of no login. If you are haven't logged in for a month, an email notice is sent. If you are having trouble logging in, use the contact form to let us know. We don't know of problems unless people tell us about them. We aren't asking everyone to post every single day, just log in once a month. IMO, that isn't asking much.

LoudMan wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:42 PM

Did they - or anyone - REALLY tell you this, shadowconn ? REALLY?

FreyaYuki wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:44 PM

Thanks for sharing this. It is good to know that at least you get a warning before your account is deleted so you can log on to the site and prevent your account from being deleted. At least, your account will not be deleted right away without giving you a chance to fix things.

shadowconn wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:46 PM

That's good to know. I don't have to write the full 15 a day. At least, not at the quality level I would like. Writing isn't a hobby for me. It's actually what I do for a living. Sites like this usually end up with my rants. Stuff that irritates me or that I think is important, but doesn't fit anywhere else. What I expect at places like this is about $1 an article. Or enough to pull $50 every 6 to 8 months. This site isn't going to do that for me right now. I may in the future.

Who me? lol there is a first time for everything!

Oh. Now I see the email. Well, it's not reading like a threat. It seems to read more like wondering where you are. Neglect any other relationship and see how log it lasts, too. :)

FreyaYuki wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:50 PM

Thanks for clarifying this. It's good to know that we can get an email in case we aren't able to log in for a month so we'll know that we should log in to the site if we don't want our accounts to be deleted.

How much time do we have to log in to the site after getting that email to make sure that our account isn't deleted? So far, I haven't experienced any problems in logging in to the site.

LoudMan wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:50 PM

No. That's not at all what they're saying.

shadowconn wrote on July 25, 2014, 1:58 PM

It just irked me. Like other people have said, there's no warning on the site anywhere that this will happen. You don't know it until you get the email.

MaeLou wrote on July 25, 2014, 2:50 PM

This is where keeping up with the updates from the Admin helps.

In fact, we were originally only going to do 14 days. http://ww.personapaper.com/article/6031-login-restrictions

Don't worry, we'll add it into the FAQ tonight.

elitecodex wrote on July 25, 2014, 3:17 PM

Let me know if you are still having issues with the logging in. We did fix that a few weeks back and I have not heard of anyone having that issue like they were before when a handful of people were having that very same issue. But we don't send that email unless it has been 28 days since your last login so you may not have been here since the updates were installed.

I would suggest catching up with a few posts from MaeLou and myself. You don't need 5,000 page views to cash out anymore. We changed the structure - views now give you 2 coins. So technically you only need 2,500 views. But we are also giving you a coin for posting comments on other peoples posts. We have changed a lot of things in the last 28 days, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask and we will do our best to help you.

Kementari wrote on July 25, 2014, 6:57 PM

And this is what happens when you don't actually follow up on all of the updates that the admins have done and are currently in the process of doing. To be blunt, and I am sorry if this seems a bit harsh, but this type of post makes me laugh because if you have no intention of logging in at least once a month, then who are you to say that you are angry because you're not earning? Log in more often, keep updated on the sites going ons, interact with people around you and make friends. Sure the payout isn't amazing right now, but you cannot expect a site (which is currently paying out of its pocket for members) to have a high payout rate. Plus if you're not going to log in and interact, then of course your account will be deleted for inactivity... you should expect that from any website regardless of what genre it is in.

I have been on several sites and have yet to find a site as smooth as this. This site is under construction and yet so many are active here with no complaints. Please tune in and read the updates and that will help you. Hope to see you around. You need to be on many sites to earn and even then the amount collected will not be sufficient for you to run your house. You need to look for offline opportunities.

nbaquero wrote on July 26, 2014, 8:13 AM

bestwriter Completely agree with you, the site has always run smoothly. We all here to help the community grow. Monetary rewards will get here in due time. In the meantime just enjoy this wonderful community.

WordChazer wrote on July 26, 2014, 1:06 PM

Agreeing with you both too. I had to email the admins earlier to let them know I was MIA as I'd not been able to post anything except comments for a week because of our bad internet connection. That has now been fixed so all is peachy here. I tend to keep my writing sites in my list of tabs to open on opening the browser so that it reminds me to log in and interact. Especially sites where you are paid or ranked for your interactions. It's amazing how quickly the views and comments add up.

cm_ang83 wrote on July 27, 2014, 12:27 AM

I agree with you bestwriter, PP is really smooth compare to bubblews. And I really like the way of interaction here. If i am interested with the comment, i just have to reply on the comment.
