Everything will be Alright

I managed to drop by today, thank God! It has been a week I guess.

I just want to let everyone know it may take a while before I can put up something here as I still need to sort urgent concerns at home.

July 16, storm struck Region 4A (Calabarzon) causing damage to property and even lives. I woke up early, slightly after midnight to loud thuds and gushing water. At one point, one section of our roof went off causing rain water to soak everything. All electrical lines inside the house is soaked and might take another week to dry before I can have it tested. Good news is the phone line is up.

In the middle of all this, while the storm was approaching, my son was almost in shock...scared. I pity seeing him in that situation. Every time I attempted to do something he would call me back because he was so scared of the loud howling and thuds. All I can do was held him. Now I know what people go through when devastation strikes. I know it will take a while before he forgets, and I pray to Jesus that while I am still alive that my son does not go through the same traumatic experience.

My wife and I are seriously considering another place...safe. My mother-in-law's house was totally flattened by the storm. The only section left standing was the kitchen! I am very thankful my family was unharmed! They might have to live with the experience for a while, but I am optimistic we as a family will get through it...in God's time.

I wish you all to be safe always!

Best Regards

| paigea | abbybiha | maricar03 | midastouch | &theresawiza |, I sincerely appreciate your thoughts and encouragement. Thank you dear friends!

Today the electric company came and re-connected the cables that were severed. Unfortunately, still no power inside the house. I may have to ask help from an electrician emoticon  Slowly, we are moving on. Rainy season is around the corner, as I respond to all of you another storm is moving in. Although not in the same path, it is still equally dangerous because of monsoon rains. I feel next week would be better!

I got an email from Persona today saying they would delete my account if I don't login soon. So, here I am. I guess I need to spend more time on the site, huh.

Monsoon rain is equally disastrous once natural barriers are non-existent. Since the storm toppled nearby trees and branches, walls and windows have become bare and very susceptible to rain. It easily penetrated the house (made of wood), hence, my wife and I are seriously considering another move. The owners of the house have no intent of helping fix the problem, which is sad. The only consolation is that power and Internet is back in the house, which now gives me an opportunity to earn gradually. Thank you &theresawiza for your encouragement.

I am so sorry this has happened to you, your family. I wish only good from all this, and that your son will be alright from such a frightening thing. I felt scared while reading what has happened there.
