My Pain in the neck

I have had a pain in the neck for over 20 years and it's not my husband! That's ones been 30 years! Just kidding if he's reading this!!

The doctors had always said it was Osteo Arthritis and gave me Vioxx and when that was recalled they put me on Ibuprofen 800 and it seemed to help although I had occasional flareups and the back of my neck would swell up to the size of a baseball and I couldn't think or do anything when it was like that. All I could do was find ways to get rid of the pain. Extreme pressure on my neck was the only thing that could give me relief. Sometimes the ibuprofen didn't help at all and I would just suffer through it.

I'm suppose to have an MRI today and hope I find out if it's just Arthritis!

These "doctors." SMH. The word "doctor" actually shares the same roots as the word "teacher." But, what do they teach? How to take a pill with even more damaging side-effects.

I hope it is just osteoarthritis, because sometimes that can be managed with indirect "treatments" like eating around food allergies and/or getting a good muscle massage in between flare-ups.

Hopefully they will figure out what is going on with your neck. I hope that you get your results real soon!
