The Like Button is Broken!!!

The like button is broken... no, not here but in the bubbly world.

They claim to introduce changes by July 1. For the past couple of months, the site has been experiencing a lot of down time due to various errors. The errors were so bad, a lot of members left. Others left because they were unpaid and yet others left because of the lack of communication from the site owners.

Things started getting better. The site was running smoother and faster. They even put up a maintenance page to inform members that the site is offline. It was a step forward... but then the errors came back and the site almost grinded to a halt. One step forward, two steps backward. Also, the time it takes to get paid seems to be getting longer and longer.

Today, when I logged in and tried interacting, I couldn't do so. I liked a post but the system message said that I already liked the news. I posted a comment and when I hit submit, my comment is gone like magic! When i hit refresh, I see my comment, posted, twice, sometimes even as many as three times.

Uhmmm, yeah, so much for changes.

Bubble just burst!!!

Yes, they were very careful not to commit to a July 1 start date though I'm sure expectations were the first of the month.

allen0187 A serious company, business or professional does not give a vague timeframe for delivering a project. That's what I find a little unsettling with their announcement, but I do recognize there have been improvements over the last few days. Just waiting to see what the big surprise is going to be.

In contrast, I find refreshing the way Persona Paper is being managed so far.

Well, the 'like' button is still broken. First time, I'm reading a post and site is saying I already liked the news. SMH!!!

Yes, they careful about that but people still thought that July 1 is the start of the great big change in bubble land. The site is running faster ans smoother but there are still glitches here and there.

So true nbaquero . The improvements were great. I love their maintenance page. It assures people that something is being done. One has to wonder though, why didn't they thought of the maintenance page sooner or why they haven't been updating people regularly?

That site doesn't know how to handle their users, they are just more focusing on income, they even also forgot to upgrade their website bandwidth that result of server slowdowns or server downs.. I left that site since last 2 months ago because I didn't see any care from the owners to their members.

Another post about bubblews complaints. I would think that it should be bubbleland that you'd want to post this. Or, do you vent here, because if you vent there, your account is removed?

cruisincrazy , again point taken. I've mentioned the matter in my posts there in bubble land. I do not think that merits a removal of any account. Otherwise, a LOT of accounts would have been removed.

tech40 , I see your point and respect your view.
