Persona Paper: Treasures Waiting to be Discovered and Endless Possibilities

Possibilities and Treasures

Human nature dictates we find ways to cope with our environment by knowing everything about it and the people who thrive on it. People are naturally curious and love to mingle. For some, it takes a while to settle in, while others have no problem blending in. Persona Paper is a vibrant and bustling community; creating positive user experience; and has a unique payout scheme. Like locked doors, once unlocked, one begins to find little treasures with infinite possibilities.

Vibrant and Bustling Community

Persona puts heavy premium on letting its users know what is going on. Admins proactively initiate and consult members about ideas to make more meaningful exchanges. Not to mention zero downtime as updates are tested on a separate test environment. One will find diverse topics to read, write, and talk about on Persona Paper. The site encourages members to put up their own work while compensating them accordingly.

Positive User Experience

The site showcases a simple overall appeal. Registration is straightforward and requires new members to submit a sample article about themself to evaluate their eligibility to join Persona Paper. The home page highlights topics by category as well as recent articles put up by members. The writing editor boasts of basic and advanced format features that enable members to create their masterpiece according to taste.

Unique Payout Scheme

Persona Paper pays out via PayPal or Amazon Gift Cards after members earn $5. Members earn coins via likes, comments, and views on their articles which can be exchanged for money once the current exchange rate is applied. This unique feature sets Persona Paper apart from other revenue share sites.

Future Possibilities that I see for Persona Paper

Communication Possibilities

I admire Persona’s transparency in dealing with its members; it goes without saying that businesses who value its client’s satisfaction will go a long way. I would like to see it go further, no elaborate makeover is required aside from clearly communicating its (OVP) when first time visitors take a peak. It can potentially ward away confusion as what the site is about. Can you suggest an OVP for Persona?

Another possibility I see coming is adding the social bookmark to the site. Older media platforms such as Tumblr and StumbleUpon still helps in making your work be heard. I did an experiment with another site using Google Analytics and proved that a good portion of traffic coming into my posts is from StumbleUpon! However, as it worked for me, it might not work for everyone !

User Experience Possibilities

From a publisher’s standpoint, I see photographs having their own , where a linkable caption can be added as well as an ; this eliminates having a separate image credit field for every article and also provides an alternative text for images that can not be displayed.

In relation to images, I also see multiple image submissions where members are able to specify their exact location (left, right, or center) and image text wrap attribute.

Revenue Payout Possibilities

It is understandable that the site recently launched and is only able to payout its members via PayPal or Amazon Gift Cards. International members joining Persona Paper at a steady pace is growing. While PayPal may be the best option, there are countries where PayPal is not available. Eventually other payment processors may be added to accommodate more payout options suitable for every member.

These are some personal possibilities I see Persona Paper might consider adding in the future. For the meantime, let me enjoy what it offers and start working my way from there. Maybe other little treasures might pop up along the way! Enjoy your weekend everyone

Thanks sandralynn . By the way is there a way we can save favorite articles we come across while on site? I forgot to add that on my post emoticon

I am still learning the rope and I hope you can be my point of reference too. The other problem too is to find inspiration of what to write.

I usually just bookmark favs, PenFlavor - though it can be horribly disorganized that way. Maybe offline - a list in a word processing program?? On site, now that would be a cool tool :) Favorite writers groups! Love it!

Ah, I will be putting up something similar for all of us about that topic in a couple of days. Watch out for it Abby.

Amen! Or in other words a BIG Thumbs Up to what you said :)

I always add folders to my Bookmarks, otherwise I would have thousands of links that were impossible to find.
Maybe add a folder in Bookmarks for PP and if needed add sub-folders for topics.

This is a very wonderful piece you have put up here
am certainly convinced that the owners would love to take cognizance of this write up
PP is for the future
I do hope we shall all be here when it finally arrives
meanwhile let's enjoy the ride, bumps and all!!!!

Nicely written, thanks. I find the transparency excellent too, it's nice to know what's going on and how things work. It makes me feel a valued member if the PP community. Add This does work, and I have had a lot of traffic in the past from Stumbleupon, but more recently from Pinterest too. If you have a unique image for a post, sharing it on Pinterest can result in some good traffic.

I only have one issue with StumbleUpon, I have high bounce rate with the traffic it brings. On Pinterest, I am still working on my boards. These are definitely great avenues to explore down the road if we want to get our articles out there emoticon  Thanks Tony.
