Reading Old Persona Paper Posts

Howdy PPers!

Love the new updates. Great work ashley !!! Of course, hopefully in the future, the site will work well with any browser. I've read comments about problems with the the site when one is using Chrome. I've experienced it myself. I'm typing this post in Firefox. Well, no big problem really, whatever works, I guess.

Well, we've seen a drop of activity these past few days. We all know the reason and that proves a problem for me because I tend to be of an interacting type of poster. I'd post of course but I prefer to interact first. With a lower number of new posts, I've come to look into each category to read older posts. Didn't know that the top posters in each category are mentioned. Their coin earnings from that category are posted as well. Kinda reminds me of the old MyLot feature.

Anyway, if you see me commenting in an old post of yours, don't be surprised. That just part of my new work flow.

Not a bad idea to go back... may even find some good information in those old posts :) What issues are you having in Chrome? I use Chrome religiously and would love any bug reports you can throw my way.

It's a good idea to explore the categories! Thanks Allen!

Nothing wrong with reading old posts, I've been known to do it myself here and elsewhere.

While the site is quiet we can all catch up with our fellow writers :)

Oh, I didn't know about the top posters, either! Where is that displayed? It could engender some competition :)

There's a trove of info in older posts. That's for sure.

So far Chrome is working like a charm for me today. Will report bugs if I see any.

Went through a couple already. Started from the bottom, 'Video' and working myself up. Ended at 'Sports'. Going to continue through my journey in the categories later in the day.

Platespinner , yeah, I read my own old posts as well. Good way to spend the time. I'll definitely learn something from reading other people's older posts.

That's so true Chantiele , hence my choice to read older posts.

AliCanary , go to a specific category. The top posters will be located at the, where else?, top part of the page along with the coins they've earned from that specific category.

I was AWOL (as far as posting goes) for a bit this week but it was due to being sick. I'm starting to feel better now and so hopefully tomorrow I'll be back on track. I have to say though, I ONLY use chrome and I haven't had any issues so far, so maybe it is the individual settings that might need to be changed to elevate whatever issues people might be having. The only problem I have is that for some reason the chrome spellchecker does not work on the submit page, I guess I should bring that up to elitecodex cuz I do need my spellchecker! lol.

momathome wrote on June 22, 2014, 11:25 PM

elitecodex I only have one I have noticed. The spellchecker does not function on the submit page. This might not be an issue for some but I NEED my spellchecker, lol.

Cool beans and a great way to read some different stuff as well. I am using Safari and it works like a dream. I love the colors of the site, very calming.
