Death must surrender. {My morning devotion with you}

The word of God tells us that we shall not die but live to declare the works of God and the resurrected Christ has shattered the power of death already on our behalf for even when we die in Christ we shall rise again to glory and eternal life.

Death was given a knock out on the very day and moment Jesus the Christ resurrected and as believers we are not to fear death for it has no power over us. Jesus and his promise of life after death with him in His father’s house is what matters after death. As the psalmist says in Psalm 118 verse 17.

We are constantly disturbed by the spirit of death and its accompanying demons but we are not moved for he who is in us is greater than he who is against us. The great promise of God that he would give us long life must be claimed by all who believe in the Son, our friend and our redeemer Jesus the Christ.

Stand firm in and under the power of the Holy Ghost and rebuke the spirit of death as God replaces that with long life and fruitfulness. Shalom , peace and life to you my reader.
