Clothes Dryer and DSL

What do a clothes dryer and my DSL connection have in common? I'm pretty sure nothing except that they are both in my house and I need both. The fact that they don't get along in the house is the problem

I've found that when the dryer is running I frequently lose my connection to the Internet. I will go out on a limb and say this is the fault of a lose wire/connection with the phone line that is getting bounced by bad vibrations from the dryer. If it's not that simple of a problem then there is simply bad blood between them and the dryer is out to make laundry the only thing that gets done when the machine is on.

One of these days I will mess with the wires again, but for now I'll just keep the dryer off for a bit.

I'm with you about the dryer and the DSL connection having bad blood.

Thankfully the problem has been fixed since then. I put a new telephone jack in the wall and made sure all the wires were completely secure and 'wiggle' proof. For now...
