happy Sunday to you all... my dog passed a year ago I miss her so much well, I recently got another dog, of course, he is a male dog all I have ever had was female dogs.it seems like male dogs are more winey and bark more. not sure maybe it is his breed he is a pit bull and American bulldog not sure what to do. any suggestions would be appreciated... I got the boy dog from SPCA at 5 months old.we still have some training issues to like jumping on people that is the worst one. though he is friendly with people and other dogs he as only been around a few children.he is big baby.

Sorry your last dog died, it's always a lot of work getting used to a new dog, especially if it's a different gender. I think a lot of people are nervous about pit bulls and bulldogs. They can be dangerous if not well trained. Maybe there are dog training classes near you? maybe you have a neighbour who knows about training dogs?

Be especially careful around babies and toddlers. They mean well, but they don't know their own strength. A pups' teeth can be razor sharp.
