Intelligence: It's All Relative

A friend and I are considered fairly sharp, mentally. However, we personally agree it is more a matter of memory than of intelligence. If you can recall endless tidbits of information, you have a better chance of putting them together and coming up with an accurate evaluation. So we don't take "intelligence" too seriously.

That being said, I did major in chemistry in college and I did take quite a few graduate-level courses. I also have a moderately diverse background in mathematics. This is not to boast, but to set the stage for "the rest of the story..."

It's early evening, and the phone, a mere two feet away, rings one or two rings. I've paused the computer. It's my buddy, referenced above.

"Hey, Boy! Watcha doin'?

"Oh, not much, just watching a movie."

"Whatcha watchin'?

"The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars."

I've never heard the guy laugh so hard I thought he'd lose his dinner. There was some reference muttered about "our scientist genius" or something like that...

That movie sounded so incredibly unlikely I just had to do some research! emoticon  and for the benefit of those who haven't seen it I present the full, 1:12:53 long uncut version of 'The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars'

No need to thank me!

It's a good movie. But, to be honest, the first in the series, The Brave Little Toaster, still reigns supreme!

Like Kasman , I didn't believe there was such a film, until I looked it up. The Wikipedia article is interesting. I might get the books for my grandchildren. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Brave_Little_Toaster_Goes_to_Mars

So they do make toasters that fly. Now I've heard almost everything. I have to check that movie out.

If you like a little cartoon fun and you care for animals and people, as well as, perhaps you are sentimental for childhood objects, it's a must...
