Who's a handsome boy then?

I AM OF COURSE! 'Clothes maketh the man' someone once said. I wonder if that also applies to dogs?

So how did I come to be wearing a bow tie? Well, there's a story behind that. I was due for my regular visit to see Bronwyn, my favourite grooming person but she was ill - bummer. I look forward to our grooming sessions together. She always manages to make me look really cute.

I was a bit disappointed Bronwyn wasn't available but my Mum (my Hero!) told me she had recommended another groomer friend of hers so off to Sophie's we went.

I was a bit apprehensive at first but I needn't have worried. Sophie was every bit as lovely as Bronwyn and one-and-a-half hours later I was looking all spick and span and as cute as usual.

Then came the 'pièce de résistance' - she gave me a bow tie! I wasn't sure at first (as you can see from my quizzical expression) but when my Mum, who didn't know about this final touch, came to collect me she was delighted. She said I looked like a little gentleman!

We both laughed all the way home and when the rest of the family saw me they thought I looked a little 'cutey pie' (as my sister said). I kept the bow tie on for the rest of the day and felt like a million dollars.

It seems 'Clothes also maketh the dog'!

Wish we had names like Bronwyn here. We've got every manner of weird name. Poopsy looks mighty cute.

Bronwyn is a Welsh name. One of my grandmothers was called Bronwyn. If Poopsy refers to the dog, I think he is called Rocco. He is much the same age as my grandaughters' dog Cooper, who is also a Bichon Frise and "Cutey Pie" is not what I would call him. He is a bad rascal. He climbed onto the table top the other day and stole pork cracklings from someone's bag! I could see him far enough when he barks just as the baby is going to sleep.

He is cute, isn't he! Bronwyn is Welsh in origin.

You are correct 'Rocco' is our cutey pie. How about a post about Cooper?

It wouldn't be complimentary! And it wouldn't be funny like "The Tiny Terror" either. He suffers from separation anxiety I think. Every time my daughter leaves the house, he rushes to the window to watch out for her. He barks at every passer by, so has to be shut in the kitchen when the baby is sleeping, so he doesn't wake him. He is good-natured, I will give him that and he walks well on the lead. The kids love him.
