Stuart Little (a book review)

The children's book 'Stuart Little' written by E. B. White is all about a small mouse by the name of Stuart Little and who lives in New York City with his adopted family the Little family. Stuart and his family have many adaptations to learn to live from the physical and the emotional standpoints of living. Stuart has to learn to make friends as well to fit in this human world he is a part. This is a mouse that has many adventures that help him to learn how to adapt to his various surroundings that he finds himself.

I first listened to this book by my second grade or third grade teacher who read this book at the close of the day, as I learned from my teacher education courses as a way to calm us down till the buses were called. I have since read this story several more times and as an adult reader you will see a lot of lessons that can be learned by this little mouse in New York City.

Sounds like a good story for bedtime then, too. I think the name Stuart Little rings a bell but I don't recall reading the book.

It is a good chapter book to read at bedtime a chapter or two to read to kids then. Your teacher may have read it to you in class.

I remember it. A personal favorite of mine was Charlotte's Web.

When did you first hear this story. I also like Charlotte's Web as well. If I remember it was in elementary when my one teacher read this book as well for the same purpose. To get us to settle down before the buses came to take us home.

Well, I was not an early-on fan. I first saw a brief excerpt of a video presentation. Was it Disney?
