We've gone and done it again!

YES, I ADMIT it - both Mrs Kasman and I are in our second childhood!

So what have we gone and done this time? We have only submitted ourselves yet again to the tender mercies of our favourite tattooist, that's what!

My last post on the subject of tattoos ( READ IT HERE ) suggested that I might get another one. Well, I am about to do so but Mrs Kasman has beaten me to it. She has received a small tattoo on her left ankle. A fairly non-descript (in my opinion) ring of what looks like a small, thin, tree creeper with the odd leaf on it completely circling her ankle.

She likes it but I must admit I'm not at all impressed. It is monochrome and I much prefer some colour. I'm not into this modern fad for one-colour (usually black) outline tattoos although I do realise why many people choose them - they are slightly (but not much) cheaper and are quicker to apply.

As for myself, well you'll have to wait to see what I will be getting. It will be quite a long-drawn-out process because I first have to have two tattoos removed before new ones can be applied in their place - and that takes at least two laser treatments with an 8-week break in between so it will be towards the end of summer before I can receive and show off the two tattoos I have chosen.

I have been told that the laser removal process can be, ummm, 'more uncomfortable' than the application of a tattoo so wish me luck!

Meanwhile, feast your eyes on Mrs Kasman's masterpiece!

I certainly wish you luck in having tattoos removed, I hope they come out in the wash ok! Mrs Kasman's tattoo looks elegant.

There are some types of tattoos that are really artful. I would never do it, but I have seen some very interesting ones on a few people I have met.

All of my tattoos are (or will be) in places which can be easily covered so I can appear to be 'normal' if need be!

That is a good idea for sure. Lot of luck to you.
