My Work at Home Projects – Social Discussion Forums That Pay
Want to shine the spotlight on two forums that are showing monetary results. Following up on my previous post discussing my My Work at Home Projects where these sites were also mentioned.
ForumCoin accepts my articles (500 words) and awards me 50 points. This reminds me of my days at BlogJob when that community also rewarded you with 50 points for each blog post. At FC you can submit one article per day. Doing the math:
- 10 articles in 10 days will equal 500 points.
- 500 points equals $5, which is the minimum cash out.
The payment process is not automated, but the site owner promptly pays upon request. I have cashed out more than once and I am very pleased. Even you don't write articles, you can be active in the discussing forum and earn points for commenting or writing short posts.
Forums on Postloop.com – To date, I am active on 2 forums listed in the Postloop network, which have a Daily Limit of 10 points per day. The term “posts” applies to both blog posts and/or your comments. For these forums, posts as comments equal 1 point. If I submit a blog post and it gets approved that counts as 5 points. Of a truth, I have more fun commenting. The forums I joined pay through Postloop. That makes it easy because all the points accumulate in one pot and I don't have to request payment from each forum owner. Like FC, the payment process is not automated. You must request pay out. Also, like FC, I have cashed out more than once and I am very pleased.
Virily.com - the new kid on the block? It did not work out for me. The site is new and going through growing pains. It has great visual appeal, but I just don't have the patience to raise this child . It's a lovely site. I wish them all the best.

Great. As for me, I'm tiring of the chase. I write for three sites, one of which directly pays me (my own site), one of which provides perks (PersonaPaper), one of which it remains to be seen what will happen (DecodedEverything).

I know what you mean. It is wearying. But I would be even more tired if I was at home all day not engaging in anything productive. Might as well lock me up in an insane asylum if I have to settle for doing nothing.

I haven't tried Poostloop and Virily. I created account with ForumCoin but haven't posted anything. I am lazy exploring it maybe because I am still happy with bitLanders . 🙂
