I didn't realize...

I didn't realize that Persona Paper was still around. According to my "Article Summary" my last post was 1 year and 3 months ago.

Since I've been absent, I've been trying to work on my Etsy shop, and most recently an order of ten bookmarks and ten magnets--of which I've finished the stitching on about six or seven of the magnets thus far.

Back in December Mom was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. She's had 10 chemo treatments thus far, and is currently near the end of a two month break from chemo treatments. Her doctor said that he would like to try Mom on something called "Immuno Therapy". We'll have to see if that comes about, or if Mom will go back to chemo.

I've been doing a lot of things that Mom can't do, as she has also been anemic and losing her breath a lot.

So, I've been pretty busy since I last posted here.

Hope you're all well out there in Persona Paper land ! Stitched and taken a photo of my me

Lung cancer was, at one time, an automatic death sentence. In fact, I thought it still was until I met a fellow in my public ministry. He asked me to come in. He realized he'd been unfriendly in the past, but was aware of his need to include God in his life. So I came in. And so we had Bible discussions. He told me he had SIX SPOTS on his lungs and was undergoing intense therapy that included both chemical treatment and radiation treatment. Well after a good dozen Bible discussions, give or take, he was happy and told me his doctor declared him cancer-free. And it was so. Sadly, he once again (how typical of mankind!) put God on the back burner. But my point is this: he is, as he said (at least for now) cancer free. SIX SPOTS, no less.

I'm sad to hear about people with cancer. So many of my friends have it, still, the victories are on the increase too. Andre'
