English Member of Parliament Killed In Street

Shocking News in England, UK

An MP, (Member of Parliament) has been shot and stabbed in the street in England. She was attacked outside a library where she had been holding meetings (a help session) with her constituents. A man approached her in the street outside, and allegedly stabbed her, kicked her as she was lying on the ground, then pulled a gun and shot her!

Britain First

The alleged assailant is said to have shouted "Britain First" as he killed her. This is the name of a right wing party in Britain that does not want any EU migration into Britain, doesn't want to accept any refugees from conflict zones either and is campaigning to leave the EU. The party has denied having anything to do with this.

Referendum campaigning is over

The UK goes to the polls on June 23rd to vote in a referendum on whether the UK should stay in the European Union or exit. While the referendum will still take place, all campaigning for it has been stopped.

Family Left Behind

The MP was called Jo Cox, who represented a Yorkshire constituency and was born and bred there. She leaves behind her husband and two young children.

And the party has denied having anything to do with this act. Sounds very familiar to what has been happening in America. An insane lunatic kills another person in the name of one or another faction and that faction denies collaboration. In some cases the exact opposite is true. The faction that takes credit for another person's wrong doings when they had absolutely nothing at all to do with it in any shape or form. It has become a mad world and ain't getting any better.

Yes, a very mad world. They say "nothing to do with me" but it's often their words and rhetoric that have "inspired" the act. emoticon

How absolutely horrible. Condolences to the family and to the British people.
