Has Anyone Recieved the Email About the Backup Files Yet?
I"m still waiting for that email with the link to our backup files. I don't think it's been sent yet, but I want to make sure I haven't missed it if it has been. Quite a few emails have been unnoticed by me because of all the other emails I have to go through each day.
It's kind of nice to have this almost private forum, since so few of us are left here. Not being moderated is sort of nice. It looks like most of us are at myLot and or BlogJob now, but who knows how long BlogJob will last. It's already running into problems. It seems to be more like Persona Paper than Bubblews, though, in the way it's handling them. BlogJob membership is closed again and they have suspended earning. So people are migrating back to myLot from everywhere. I'm even seeing old HubPages friends that have never been on that kind of site before.
I hope anyone not on myLot yet will join. It's really easy to stay in touch there.

I have seen no email yet. I have not been posting here, but I have been posting more on my lot. Especially since blogjob has done what it's done, I resist writing anymore there

i haven't received any email yet. I am a member of Mylot but it really doesn't interest me and I seldom visit there any more.

Thanks for letting me know.

Too bad about BlogJob, but at least I had a topic for my Review This post today. I had write a post that updated the glowing review I did in October of last year. Those of us with affiliate programs and Google ads can still possibly make a few pennies the apart from the rewards program if we can drive enough traffic there. I've been with you on myLot most of the afternoon, so I hope we both make money. I like being able to talk about my favorite subjects and post photos without counting words.

I love myLot. I like being able to just talk to people about the subjects that interest me with others who have similar interests. It keeps me in touch with most of my old friends from here.

Has anyone heard from elitecodex or seen him around here? I love the fact I can still pop in here and get updates from all of you regarding writing sites and our online activities. Best of luck to all of you in your endeavours and if you come across a good site, do let us know.

No, I haven't heard from him on here or in the Facebook group for a long time.

Nope. Haven't gotten any emails from Persona Paper.
I think it's sad that so many sites for writers have so much trouble surviving and thriving. I liked PP a lot, even though its woes with Google limited our earning potential.

I only recently started posting and commenting on Persona Paper again after neglecting it for months, so I'm not up to date about it. Is it staying? Closing down? What has changed about it? How is My Lot different? When you write something too short for HubPages, how do you decide whether to post it on Persona Paper or My Lot? I have little time for Persona Paper. I'm hesitant about joining My Lot, too.

I don't think I will ever invest my time into a third party writing site again. I cashed out for less than I was hoping to at BlogJob because I'm not sure they will ever go back to giving points or that I'd ever get the rest needed for a $100 cash out before the site goes down. In investing more time on making and promoting products on Zazzle now.

At myLot you will at least earn a few pennies for your daily interaction. It's like a grand meeting place for writers you know from every site you may have been on. It's a grand reunion of those from closed and closing sites. You earn nothing here anymore and we just come to chat. Most of us are now at myLot and earning while we catch up with each other. It's like a Facebook where you get paid for how much interaction you cause or post. If you post something that generates a lot of interaction, you get paid as people interact. If you posts creates no interaction, you don't get paid anything for it. Income is not residual. You earn the pennies as you type. Posts can be a couple of sentences or paragraphs, whatever you decide. You can also post photos with your posts or in comments. Come join us. I'm bagarad there. Follow me and you'll find other people you know among my followers to befriend. If you are at all social, you will love it. If you only like to write objective, information-packed articles, you probably wont'.

I received that email this morning and haven't logged in to Persona for about a year? Made me come back and check things out :)

I haven't seen an email about backing up posts in preparation for a final closure of the site. I am on myLot and I tried BlogJob after being invited to join but it soon went south and I don't interact much there anymore. I have revived one of my old Blogger blogs with a new title and focus. I call it "Tales of the Exhausted Educator."

Yes, I did receive that email some time ago. At least I am pretty sure. I also am a mylot member but have not been visiting the site that much. I will have to get back in the swing of things.

I have no idea about it. But since I can a chance to hook your account to encourage you to write here again so that we can revive PersonaPaper again.
