Did you see this: Blogjob Rewards program temporarily suspended

I just saw this announcement and I am speechless. I had over 8400 points (almost $84) and now this from Sheridan:

I’m very sorry for having to make this announcement, but I’m going to have to temporarily suspend the rewards program. Ever since the migration the site has experienced a major decline in search traffic. There are several reasons why this has happened but one contributing factor is the amount of downtime the site has experienced.

Bottom line: Members will not be able to earn points for their activities

I just seen it. I know I was still drawing visitors in but at least he made an announcement. Hoping it is back soon.

That's very disappointing. Changing hosting (I assume that's what migration refers to) can seriously affect traffic. I hope things pick up soon.

Please let me know if anyone wishes to sell their points. I need about 1600 more points.

Yes. I transferred my 1725 points as a gift to someone there but it was not credited to her. Maybe receiving points is also limited i.e. ONCE a day. 😩

As I have not been keeping up on all of the sites as like I need to, I did not know about this until I received your email. I'm glad that I was able to help.

It is also very disappointing that yet another site has had its problems. I was there for 3 weeks, before this announcement was made. Maybe it's just time for me to start writing without any concern about earning period and if that's the case then I have a Blog I should resurrect.

As far as interaction, there's always here and I can also do the same on Facebook. I just recently open my Facebook back up after two years away. I have to say I haven't missed it.

Coral, monetize your own blogs. I do have some blogs on how to do that posted on BlogJob and on To make any money blogging or with a web site of your own, you either have to have massive amounts of traffic or you have to be an affiliate marketer. It's a lesson I don't like, but we are wasting time on third party sites if we want to do anything but socialize. Even on BlogJOb one can monetize one's own blog, but when I last looked at my dashboard, almost every plugin I was using had been removed and some I could care less about seem to have been installed. I have no intention of promoting or trying to post until I see how that affects my blogs. I will stick around to keep up on what's happening when I have time. Meanwhile, I have two BlobJob review posts on two different sites I need to update. One of them is where this quote below came from. I'm glad I warned people.

I would not advise putting all your eggs into the Blogjob basket, though. If you want to be a successful affiliate marketer, this is probably not the host you should use for your main source of livelihood. If blogging for a living is your goal, see Why It’s Important for Affiliate Marketers to Self-Host WordPress Sites at site linked to above.

I think I need to pay somebody to do this for me. Because I am not interested in figuring it out because it does not come easily to me, nor does it seem very simple at all.

I've even having problems at Blogger now, with new error messages and something called schema-org that you have to do in the code and error messages about security problems for people viewing your site in https mode. I have no idea how to handle any of it. Why can't developers of all these updates and codes, etc, just stop it o i can just enjoy writing again?
