The New Persona Paper Private Group on BlogJob
I just started a private group for those who have been members of Persona Paper so that we have a private place to get together and talk about old times here, personal stuff, and the adjustment to BlogJob. I have been there for over a year and I started a forum just within our private group that is threaded so we can communicate and ask questions by topic. To join the group, first send me a friend request because if I haven't sent you one it's because I didn't see you join or I didn't recognize the name you are using there. If we aren't connect here or if you are using a different name there, as soon as we are friends at BlogJob, send me a messageor write on my wall with your Persona Paper name and the approximate date (month and year) you joined so that I can check the membership list here and find you. I'm getting requests from all sorts of people I don't recognize because they either were never here or because they are using different names. There is a reason I've made this a private group. WE have a history together.
Using WordPress there is not quite the same as using it on your own sites, and I have written about that in our private forum. There is also a thread to introduce yourself when you first join, or whenever you become aware of it.
From the minute you join you will be assaulted by friend requests and group invites from people you don't know that just want to start groups and make friends to get points. Most groups are things like "What is your favorite coffee?" and other such deadend topics that could be discussed in the general forum. Don't collect groups. Reject most invitations unless the subject really interests you. Check out the sites of people you don't know before accepting their friend requests.
If you have questions about how to use Blogjob, please use our group forum. That's why it's there. All our interactions there and in any other group or forum get points. I'd rather get those points talking to people I already know in one place.
