Honesty in Business Is What Makes Persona Paper the Best

I cannot say enough about Will and Heather ( elitecodex and MaeLou ) and what they have been like to work with at Persona Paper.

I recognize that there are many who have not always agreed with them and their decisions, nor did all people like writing and interacting here because it never paid like Bubblews.

I always found it interesting that some would come in here and try to subvert, or even sabotage, the successes that were possible here. I believe that there were some people who may have been rather deliberate in doing so, just so they could "be right" and feel justified in saying, "See? I told you so!" But that is not for discussion any longer, as it serves no purpose.

What impresses me about Will and Heather is their integrity. They have always done what is the right thing to do by the site's members. Sometimes, it has taken a little longer than might have been ideal, but they are true to their word.

Thanks to the both of them for this quality. It makes a big difference, and gives me hope for humanity.

Yes, ethics and honesty go a long way in business, especially one that is on line.

CoralLevang wrote on March 7, 2016, 2:13 PM

Trouble is there is little of it and those that scream the loudest about wanting businesses to be honest and ethical are often the very ones that would screw the businesses over and steal from them. It's not a new phenomenon, but I always was idealistic enough to think that most "will do the right thing."

Silly woman...

Not so silly .... nothing wrong with believing the best of people. Most are good.

But I am not so sure that I would walk away from punching them in the damned noses!! emoticon :winking:

They were honest and they did the best they could to make good. I appreciated their endeavor. While I do think it was doomed because of the nature of the beast, I don't blame them in the least.

I agree, CoralLevang , and that's why I am despondent about the closing down of Persona Paper. Heather and Will weren't unscrupulous jerks like the gang that ran Bubblews. They did the best they could to keep the site going.

Persona Paper restored my faith in the above mentioned virtuous attributes, especially ethics.

I agree to what you say. Toady they have honestly put in 'The Final Nail'. If we, the members feel so bad after reading the site closure, I cannot imagine their position. Finally it is their own baby.

Yes ,they both call a spade a spade all the time and let users know what is going on ,unlike Bubblews owners who paid users more than other sites at the start ,so people flocked to be there ,then they lined their pockets and closed the site down .

I couldn't agree more. Integrity is becoming a rare commodity in these times, and should be celebrated. These two are the epitome of it, and my hat is off to them.

I would find that hard too! LOL I used to go to boxercise classes and at the end of the class, the instructor used to put a special vest on and get each student in turn to punch as hard as they could at his chest level, to see if they could get him to move backwards. It was a point of honour with me to ensure he had to take at least one step back!!! emoticon

I think that in a previous life I must have been a boxer!

I agree. Will and Heather have always been upfront and kept us in the loop. I'm sorry the site did not work out the way we all hoped it would, but I do believe now that I'm going to stop writing on sites I don't own after I reach payout on BlogJob. I realize that any site can go anytime. It's best to keep every site you work on backed up. As soon as I have time I'll be moving my work from all third party sites onto my own sites. My friends who are moving hubs to their own sites are making much more than they did for those hubs on HubPages.

I'm not sure I want to tackle learning how to do all of that. I admire you so much and others like you.

With just a click you can move any post from here to Medium. You just won't make anything on it. You can, however, mention and link to another blog you own from a post in Medium. You just can't have ad or affiliate links. Just a casual message about seeing more from you at I have several posts there now that wouldn't make money anywhere without radical changes.
