When it rains it pours big time!
I got up early to check my bank balance and it was out of balance.
My Jack in the Box purchase yesterday was pending.
I forgot about Amazon Prime. I never received my 3 day renewal notice via E-mail.
So, when I checked my balance and then transferred funds to my other account then history it was apparent two things happened yesterday:
1. My Amazon Prime was renewed on the second of March, 2016 automatically before my check came in on the next day. I called the bank to see if I could fix things and of course, they fixed things for me.
2. I had to review my Amazon Prime account statistics for recent payments and it listed that my renewal was processed yesterday and that I was good for another year and that my next renewal date was set for March 2nd, 2017.
So with this information I was told I would not be charged for the Jack in the Box purchase yesterday. Thank goodness, so after I realized I would not be able to purchase my trunk lid pull down motor this month and I still have utilities pending, the next big thing happened to make me upset.
My subscription for Norton Security Subscription Status read: 30 Days Remaining ... renew now!
Well 30 days from now it will be April 2nd. I can wait another 30 days. I was going to make the payment today but when I got to the pay site the amount to renew for another year was not what it was last time, around 49.00. Instead that amount has gone up to about 79.00 or so for another year. I backed out but saved the page for next month so I can click on it and make a payment on April 2nd.
Like I said earlier in the title of this article, 'When it rains, it pours ... big time!'
The thing is that really aggravated me most was I was never given a 3 day early payment reminder from Amazon Prime. I bet it's because I forgot to click on the link to activate it last year and assumed I would automatically be notified out of courtesy.
The bottom line and lesson learned here for me was, You tend to forget about annual auto renewals and when you don't keep tabs on all of them they can come up at the most inconvenient moments in our lives. I am glad I have a plastic tarp for the rainy days to keep my car's trunk dry.
I did try to spray white silicone grease on the shaft of the pull down motor. I may take hammer to it later on this afternoon, just kidding. :)
