I go by my real name, Barbara Radisavjevic at Facebook and Google +, but I post regularly on Facebook/BarbsPeopleBuilders, my page. I'm currently getting back into writing. Huckleberry the Kitten has assumed editorship of http://theguinessblog.blogspot.com and will soon be starting his own blog as soon as I decide hosting details. I think one thing we can all do for each other as bloggers to help establish our sites is to get over to Google + and visit each other, giving +1's and comments to each other's work. That will help it in search results. I also joined medium.com tonight as another way to get traffic. If anyone else is on triberr, I have two tribes there. One is for people who blog about their towns or cities. This other is for Christian bloggers. My blog traffic doubled since joining Triberr. It's free and you set up a feed so your blog feeds to your tribe. Then other tribe members see it and it's very easy to share on Twitter from there. There are tribes on just about any interest you can think of and you can join several tribes. If you'd like to know more, contact me by email or on Twitter or Facebook and I'll send a link that explains how it works and how to get started. The free plan allow you to promote two blogs, but no more than one per tribe.

BarbRad - More traffic is the holy grail for many bloggers. Some of us (me included) don't write primarily for the money (but I won't turn it down!) but for the pleasure of it but even so we want our work to be read so the more places we can spread that work the better. Since starting my own blog about 3 months ago I have found Facebook, Google+ and Twitter to be invaluable places to share my writings - and being a member of a group is particularly so. The only thing that concerns me with joining lots of sharing sites is the time spent interacting with visitors and potential visitors to my blog. I'm not against interactions, obviously, but we must be judicious in our choices or we will find ourselves spending much of our time spreading the word and not writing new words!

At the start it was helping me with the weight loss because I was holding myself accountable but I don't keep it as up to date as I should so I am not doing as well. or maybe I am not updating it regularly because I am not doing as well, I am not sure.

I am having all sorts of issues with blogger at the moment. I just updated my profile yesterday and it said it had saved but it didn't, I cant follow anyone's blogs either. its all a bit weird, never had issues like this before. I went through the list on this post and tried to follow all the other blogger blogs but I couldn't do it. really want to change to wordpress but I've got a hosted adsense account so it wouldn't work on wordpress and I would need to reapply.
