And, no, I don't mean the ghost of the TV! Today's world REQUIRES an on line presence. Whether for personal expression, paying bills or promoting your own business, you need to use the web. Even my elderly sister in law, who does not have a computer, sometimes needs on line power to do what she needs to do.

If you are trying to sell something or need to attract more customers, get a great URL. It needs to be easy to remember and if possible, it should mention your product. If you have several products, you could always get a URL that tells people they will be saving money! You can change the URL if you get a better idea.

Get Email List Sign ups

To get people to sign up for your email lists, offer them something valuable. For instance, if you have a dog training blog, offer a list of the top 20 puppy training tips, or an article on how to stop a dog constantly barking. When they give you their email address, you can send them more information. If you can build an email list, then you have more chances to send them product offers that they will want. Make sure you send informational posts more often than sales posts.

Nowadays, people have to be constantly on guard when searching the internet or reading their email. Just today I got an email purporting to be from my bank. It was only the bad spelling in the title that gave it
away! People are used to being scammed and are tired of dealing with bad purchases. Help them believe in your product or service by gaining their trust. Prove to them that your product is worthy of their time and allay some of their fears.
