It's Hard to Say Goodbye

I've spent the week digesting the news of the demise of Persona Paper. I read about it on my iPhone while I was on the way to Chicago for a concert.

It's one of those sad facts of life, I guess, when you have to try to live in a Google Ad Sense-less world online. I always thought we were better off without that dictatorial set-up.

So, where to now?

My primary presence will be on MyLot and InfoBarrel. The latter does not deal with Ad Sense, but has a 75/25 split on revenue on your articles (you get 75% of the money-generated revenue on your articles, the site keeps 25%). There are a number of great writers here who would be right at home with the quality-driven content on InfoBarrel.

I also have a minimal presence on Hub Pages (I don't make money there because of the aforementioned Ad Sense). I'm Four Walls on all of them.

I hope to see y'all somewhere else online. We have some dang good writers here. And some dang good friends.

I am on InfoBarrel but I have not written very much and with all that I have to do.

Wow. I wonder how many writing sites there are. I wonder what it would be like if there were just one super writing site for general articles like this one with Ad NonSense or some other form and there would be instead of a few hundred writers perhaps a million all under one domain. That would be funtastic.

I am not impressed with the new mylot. I have no adsense too nor computer access. I only use my iPhone so I stick with ;)

See you on one or all of them. I have backtracked and am still making up my mind. Mylot does not like artices, it seems, so my first choice is useless for writing them.

I was really wondering where to go next. There are at least half a dozen sites I have seen mentioned so far, with mixed reviews of each. Now another one, which sounds like a probability. I'd like to go somewhere where I can not only write, but also read articles by my favourite writers. I guess I'll see you in the barrel.

That's useful, letting people know that there are sites without adsense.

FourWalls , did I maybe mention elsewhere that you can make money on Hubpages with Amazon and Ebay?
