Sticking to nothing

Young adults of today are precious and very lucky. Opportunities are theirs for the picking. Just what this young lady realized:

"I think our generation has this privilege of having so many options that we wanna try out those options first before committing to one, and I think that's fair."--Marla Darwin, 27.

I guess most of them are channeling Steve Jobs who is famous for exhorting: "You've got to find what you love...if you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle."

But I guess we need to keep a deadline into this pursuit. Because as much chances and leeway are given during our youth; and we are forgiven for a lot of mistakes; we need to stake ownership to that one passion.

At some point we need to grow-up; own up and not to itch around trying out everything; eating everything on our plate, and sticking to nothing.

Just like a headless chicken, we might find ourselves everywhere but is actually nowhere.

Yes, that's very true. I did not find my passion for a long time but in my own defence, it hadn't been created at that time - computers!
