HI to all old and new friends!

Hi friends, sorry for not being here for a while but life got in the way of all my plans! So many things happened the last two months that it will take writing a book if I wanted to tell it At the moment its snowing here in Turkey and we are all, us 4 humans and 3 dogs with 23 cats, snugly warm inside the house. You can imagine how we get under each others feet all the time but we adapt since going outside is just not an option now.

One thing I can talk about is the fact that our cat family of 22 cats now has a new edition since last week Saturday. I wasn't going to take in any more rescued cats, but for some reason I could not refuse this one. This is a one year old purebred Maine coon cat that someone thought good to cut his whole throat from ear to ear and all the way down to the stomach and then threw him on the rubbish dump to die! An Angel came by and saw him there, still breathing, rushed him to hospital and they managed to save his life! Now 6 weeks later he is with us and we intend to love him so much that he won't even remember the awful trauma he had to go through! We named him 'Mango' since he's the sweetest, kindest and most good natured cat you can ever dream to have!

Oh poor, poor kitty. What a truly awful thing for someone to do. I know you will love him well, and as you say, make up for the terrible trauma. My mind is reeling though. 23 is a LOT of cats!

all of them have their own 'horror' story which i just couldn't ignore and had to help rescue them.. :)

Poor little thing. Glad he is recovering, looks very relaxed and handsome with it!

Since it is still winter in your country, my country is not in snow but it is very cold as of this moment.

Glad the kitty is doing well now that he got saved by the angel and you. If you wanted to you could write your book here and share the past two months.

Is that Mango in the picture. What a lovely cat, how on earth could someone do something like that?

Mango seems like a good name to give that poor cat. Who could ever think of doing something so cruel to a living animal?

That was so nice of you to save that cat's life. You are just like my sister.
