My Snowy Weekend Wasn’t So Bad

I’m in the process of multitasking between my writing orders, writing out this post and interacting on here, so please bear with me lol.

I think you all know by now that I live on the East Coast, so we were a bit snowed in this weekend, under about 30-inches of snow. We’re okay though, I just wasn’t on here because I was doing other things.

The snow started on Friday, and I spent the day watching The Facts of Life with some of the family, letting my younger sister put the magenta back in my hair (the underneath/under layer) and working on a few direct orders. I was up rather late that night, but it's not like I had anything to do on Saturday.

I cannot really remember what I did on Saturday, aside from watching The Facts of Life (we checked the first and second seasons out of the library) and getting online. The snow was pretty much falling all day.

Sunday was the WWE Royal Rumble, which I watched at home with my nieces, sister and Mother. We got online to communicate with the family, since we obviously didn't make it to my brother's house to watch it. I lost the Royal Rumble pool haha, but I still had a good time watching.

I'm just waiting for WWE Raw right now, and I'll probably finish up my work soon. I'm not sure if we're babysitting tomorrow (we didn't today due to the snow), so I guess we'll see. I'm gonna wrap this up and keep on working. You all enjoy the upcoming week!

The Weather Channel and the news media like to use scare tactics to get you to watch their shows. My belief is to better safe than sorry and just hope that the big storm does not hit you.

Weren't you busy shoveling any of the snow this weekend or playing in it?

I think I cannot live in a snowy world because my brain is freezing here in my country even if it is not winter in our place. Just a plain cold breeze.

It did hit us, but we weren't really worried, it's not anything we haven't dealt with before lol. :)

Someone else shoveled, and I didn't play in it, but there's still a bunch left if I want to lol. The snow plows are hitting our area though.

Meh, I'm used to it. I don't mind the snow, but I'm ready for spring lol.

I have been through Hurricanes Cindy and Katrina in 2005. It was not any fun not having the basic materials for a few days after the storms hit the New Orleans area in 2005.

I'm sorry to hear that. Glad you're okay now.
