The Coldest Day of the Year in Northeast Thailand
Sunday, January 24, 2016, is turning into the coldest day so far this year in northeast Thailand.
When I awoke this morning at 6:30, there was a breeze and the temperature was about 62 degrees. As I write this post at 4:15 p.m., the thermometer has dropped to 54 and it just stopped raining. According to local weather reports, by early tomorrow morning, Monday, January 25, our temperature will be down to 45 degrees!
What makes it so bad is that we are not accustomed to this very cool weather. Just yesterday it was 90.
I am also uncomfortable because there is no heating inside my home as in almost all Thai houses. For that reason, I am wearing a light jacket and long pants.
I wouldn't trade this weather, however, for the blizzard conditions that many of my viewers are experiencing in the eastern part of the United States.

Hope it warms back up soon for you there. Maybe get an electric space heater to set near you.

I remember having very cool weather like this for a day or two last January. Hopefully we will be much warmer on Wednesday.

Our weather in Thailand has been very similar to your English weather over the past day or two with rain, overcast skies, and very cool temperatures.

Getting a space heater would be a very good idea. I would feel a lot more comfortable.
