That is me on Monday as I was getting ready to hit the therapy pool for the pool for class. I am not looking thrilled. One because I was just back from a 10 day break and two, it was too & %^$%# early to be up. Class is at 8am, so the alarm went off at 6am so I could have time to attempt to wake up and get coffee.

Class is rather nice, the pool is heated and it is nice to be able to move without hurting so much. But by the time class is over I am achy and this is the GENTLE class! They tell me it will get better, I hope so. If it doesn't I am going to have to find someone to soundly beat.

Hubby was going to be going with me, but after a couple days of this class and his regular water aerobics class has decided it is too much. Since he is well established in his other class I will be going to mine alone. But the people are nice and I think I can handle it (I'm not great among a lot of people I don't know). Even if it is still too %*^& ^# early in the morning.

Have to get a university parking permit tho. Hubby has been driving me to work for years now, but now I will have to drive myself the 3 days a week. Thankfully we have two vehicles. Now I just hope there will be parking when I get to work. There are only 4 spaces behind the building and last semester they were always full when hubby dropped me off.

Is the class normal type exercises, but done in a pool?

Hope it improves a lot for you and helps your arthritis.

Pretty much, just adapted to being in water. Water offers resistance, but supports the body. Most is shallow water, so I am standing on the floor of the pool, water up to my shoulders. Deep water for different exercises. Uses a pool noodle, still almost drown if not careful LOL!

I seem to recall reading that being in water supports the joints. whatever you do don't drown!

Unfortunately the arthritis is here to stay, just hope I can keep it from getting worse for as long as possible. Really do need to get my regimine of movement and anti-inflammatory foods and meds down pat.

Such a pity that arthritis does not respond to treatment.
