Quiet day, a very happy wallow in Downton Abbey
Just finished watching the first episode of the final season of Downton Abbey. Very glad to see one dangling plot line be resolved for good. I also indulged in an order of chinese food for dinner. I will almost always say yes to chinese food.
Starting to read _Execution Dock_ by Anne Perry, in her ongoing William Monk series. I did get finished with _White Cascade,_ and what a sad, tragic tale it was too.
Pip is still staying mostly in the master bedroom and bath, but she's getting braver about coming out when J and I are in bed. She has hopped up to join us, and get plenty of scritches and loving. But she still hides whenever she sees or hears Phantom or Miss Sophie. That's one of the disappointing parts, unfortunately.
And that is about all for today. Not very much going on right now.
Oh, J has decided that he will get a new car instead of buying something used. Evidently one of his co-workers talked him out of it. Needless to say, I am very happy about that! I don't want to see him having to deal with an unreliable vehicle -- I've had that in my life too many times.
Now to finish up my pot of tea and off to bed.
