My writing plans for 2016

Tis the season for looking ahead at the New Year as well as one’s plans for it. On my personal blog, I did do a post on the writing projects I’m working on for next year. I didn’t want to just “copy” it here, so if you’re interested you can read it there. This will be on writing posts, mostly for here on Persona Paper.

When Bubblews imploded and several of the other sites I checked out went belly up, I lost my posting mojo. I went from three or four posts a day, to one or two a week. But in the past few months I’ve started building up my posting here and on myLot. Right now my weekly goal here is to post my Wednesday Writing Prompt, my Friday Poll, and at least one other post. My plan for January is to bump that up to at least two other posts a week, and to start thinking about some post series I can start doing on Mondays. My hope is that by March or April I’ll be back to at least a post a day and I’ll slowly start cranking that up. How far that goes, we’ll just have to see. Because the only way to get ahead in this content writing business is to produce content. Funny how that works out.

I hope your writing plan works for you. I, too, make great writing plans. But somehow there always seems to be a gap between the making and the doing.

Good luck to that plan.

In addition to producing content here on Persona Paper, it is just as important to read and comment on followers' posts.
