Chrismas Eve Eve, and no Holiday Spirit

It is the eve of Christmas Eve, and I'm not feeling it. Not at all my friends, not at all.

I would like, if I could, to skip Christmas all together. Can we just go straight to New Years?

2015 has not been kind to me.

Now, it has been harder on many people. I know friends who have lost their homes, and lost their loved ones. I know cancer and all other kids of illness have struck many others. We (my family and I) have been lucky in that regard.

Yet, Still, though we may have had a great year in other peoples eyes, it is still a year I want to be DONE with.

Will the flipping of the calendars from 2015 to 2016 magially bring peace and perfection into my life?

Well... no, its not likely.

But still.

But still.

Well, if you skip Christmas how can you expect a great year for 2016? It is not about the feeling and the lost. What matter is... there is Christmas... meaning there is a Savior, a God who can help us to surpass everything, that if we are secure that we have hearts set on him, then nothing is to fear, even if we have lost someone (they are better off and having the best life with God that we can never give them here), and if we lost our home, it is great that we are still experiencing Christmas, meaning there is a God who mold and strengthen you for a greater 2016 if you have faith.

Christmas is the fulfillment of God's promise that he will free us from all our suffering... Never skip understanding the true meaning of Christmas through Christ sacrificial at the cross and overcoming the grave... for without it every year will always be a mess no matter how many accomplishment we achieve. Understanding the true Christmas give us hope and make us dream again, for in Christ there is no second best, there is no taking without gaining million times of what has been taken to us... for God will always fill our emptiness, and in Christ we lack nothing but will always have abundantly to share with others even though there are hardships God never fails.

Many people are not feeling it this year. The weather being as warm as it is, it doesn't seem like Christmas. I hope, you and your family have a great Christmas.

If any year is "kind," I would like to see it, so I try to find the good in whatever there is. Not always easy, and I appreciate all you say. If you ever need a boost...let me know. I'm usually good for it.

emoticon :winking: Here's to a gentler 2016!! We're almost there!
