Abbey's 2015 Christmas

This is Abbey's 2015 Christmas photo. As can be seen she is still climbing her tree. So we decided a lit tree with no decor was alright for this year.

Our children are suppose to come in tomorrow so it is going to be a happy busy Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The weather was in the 70's in Texas today a beautiful day with some wind and lots of sunshine. Suppose to be the same thru Christmas Day.

Weather in the 70's does make travel safer during the holidays. Freezing temperatures makes it virtually impossible to leave the lake because our lake roads freeze very quickly. Christmas Day last year was very cold last and it did not snow till a few days later. Then it rained lots of large ice pellets first week into January. To me it was strange because I had never seen that much frozen pellets on the ground before. Instead of shoveling snow one could shovel ice pellets. Travel was impassable then too because roads were slick and we were iced in for a week. If its going to be cold I hope it stays dry weather this year, but we will see.

Abbey and I wanted to wish all of you and yours from our home to yours a very blessed and Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas. I think the tree looks really nice. Lots of branches to place pretty ornaments. Pretty Kitty picture.

The weather is now unusually hot in northeastern Thailand. It is in the low 90s today. Let me wish you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!

That makes travel MUCH more pleasant. We had a storm last night with high winds and rain. It seems to have passed but we are promised more rain.

How old is Abbey? A nice looking tabby. I don't put up a tree as the moggies used to be tree climbers; not so much nowadays!

Merry Christmas to y'all and Abbey. She is such a beautiful little kitty.

We are "enjoying" warm weather here, too, in eastern NC today. The high is supposed to be near 80(F). While it doesn't feel seasonal, warm and wet is better than cold and wet, or cold, wet, and icy.

Merry Christmas. I wasn't out to gauge the temperature today, but the night is beautifully clear with a full moon.

I hope that you, Abbey, and the rest of your family had a blessed Christmas as well. :)

And a lovely full moon it was for sure last night. My daughter in law took and picture and face booked it and stated she wished she could see Santa and his reindeer and sleigh go across that big beautiful moon. The moon was hazy, but still very beautiful!

My daughter lives in Maine where it was in the 50's and they hadn't even gotten their first snow fall, yet. We are under a tornado watch tonight all of northern Texas and flash flood warnings.

I enjoy the lights on a Christmas Tree it just makes the trees stand out more to me, and of course reminds one of snow on trees somewhere. I was reading a little bit yesterday online about how the Christmas tree tradition got started, but did not get to finish it.

Absolutely nice weather yesterday on Christmas Day! Today we are under a tornado and flash flood warnings. Ugh!

Abbey is about 6 months old. She is a hoot she loves to play and chase and of course climb. We are having bad storms here right now so may loose internet!

Goodness that is hot. Our summers here have been so muggy hot and humid! Makes me want to move to the mountainous regions!

Brenda wrote on December 26, 2015, 6:51 PM

We played a new dice game called farkle or farkel it was tons of fun! Lots of laughter and joy!

Paulie wrote on December 27, 2015, 1:33 AM

The mountainous regions are nice during the hot weather, but very chilly during the month of January here.
