Finished the Front Page

Got the Time

Every so often, I get the time to finish the front page on PP. I didn't plan on it today but I had finished my "Recent Acticity" list, though I may have missed some down at the very bottom and so started in to read the front page. I am babysitting at present and luckily they have slept all evening. After crawling on hands and knees under the stairs to ascertain why there was no internet connection, I managed to restore it by the very technical solution of turn the durned switch off and then back on again. It worked, so i got writing on here.

Facing The Possibility

I was at one point facing the possibility of an evening by myself, with sleeping children and no internet! That couldn't be allowed. I couldn't find any loose wires so it just had to be "brute force". emoticon

I'm a mouse-pushing, armchair sitting, low-energy procrastinator. I couldn't succeed in it if I tried.

You got to do what you got to do. Glad you fixed the problem.

It wouldn't have been so bad in my own house, I can always find something that needs doing emoticon

Way to go getting through the whole front page. I've not achieved that as yet.

I was struck by the photo you used, the add in the lower right hand corner about home loan interest rates. I remember when rates on home loans were that high.

I have also learned that when I don't have Internet, I have to either log off and then log back on or to reset my Wifi router.

You've been busy today! And the wall came a-tumblin' down!

Occasionally, I like to find the front page of an older newspaper (1870 - about 1970) and "get through" that. Makes for interesting reading.

Yes, how anyone could afford a mortgage at that rate beats me.

MegL wrote on December 22, 2015, 5:52 AM

Yes, I have done that too sometimes. Very interesting.

Well I cannot take no internet here at the lake. Sometimes it goes down for a few hours to just minutes and hubby and I just stare at each other and think what now? lol.

My internet connection went out just as I was about to post my Tuesday contribution to our cooperative blog. I had to wait and post it in the morning, since it seemed not to be on my end. It was way past my bedtime anyway.

You made great use of time once you fixed that connection issue!
